Friendsgiving Aftermath

(Hey, I am just writing my version of a spelivia scene in episode 16. p.s: I'm lowkey salty over Olivia telling Layla that her and Spencer were friends when I know damn well that they are more than that lol.)

Spencer is at Beverly Hills High checking out the trophy case. He admires the achievements that the school has made. As he is looking, he sees Olivia walking towards him.

"This is harder than I thought." Spencer saids.

"They deserve to make it to state. Jordan deserves to make it to state, even if that means a rematch against South Crenshaw. Facing off Jordan and the Eagles is the only thing that makes sense."

"Well, you have been doing a lot of facing off lately." Olivia saids, leaning into the wall. Spencer agrees with what she said.

"How it go with Layla yesterday?" She asks.

"Not as well as I hoped." Spencer answers, disappointed. He just wish things would work between him and Layla, but he understood that she needed time to heal from what happened before they could be in a good place again.

Even though things didn't go well with Layla, Spencer mentions how him and Coop are cool again.

"That's good. Me and Layla are getting there. It's going to take time though. And I'm ok with that." Olivia saids. Spencer asks curiously since they were on the topic of Layla.

"Did Layla ever mention me before me and her talked?" Olivia gives a 😐 look knowing Spencer may not like what she is going to say. Spencer sees this look and gets suspicious.

"What's that look for?" Olivia sighs.

"Well... when Layla asks about us, (pointing at each other) I kinda told her that we were just friends." Spencer looks down.

"Wow... friends...." (he shakes his head, looking disappointed) Olivia knew he was going to have this reaction considering where they are right now.

"Hey..." Olivia comes close to him and holds his hand, with the both of them looking at each other.

"I couldn't say the truth. I didn't want her to feel more hurt than she already was with the situation. You and I both know that we are more than friends, but right now, we're just focused on ourselves and our priorities. I promise, Spencer, when the time comes, and all of our problems are behind us and we actually have time for ourselves, then we will officially be together. I love you too much for us to not be together."

Spencer smiles at Olivia's words, basically cheering him up. He is now good knowing that Olivia gave him clarification about their relationship since they have been busy with themselves.

"Ok. Just making sure. Because if you are basically friend-zoning me after everything we've through..." They both laugh, acknowledging the fact that they are something more other than friends. Olivia continues to say what her experience was like with Layla.

"Yeah, so me and Layla are getting there... as long as I just keep playing nice with Carrie, I swear something is off with that girl."

"You tell Layla that? Spencer asks.

"No, we just started to fix our friendship. I'm staying out of it. (A/N: what friendship?? you mean that toxic friendship you guys are still trying to fix, knowing it's probably best for you guys to be cordial? that friendship?? huh, ok...)

Spencer nods her head, agreeing. "Yeah... same reason I ain't telling Coop that I think Preach is keeping stuff from her."

"Exactly. See, this year, we are staying out of other people business, ok? And we're focusing on our own." She points at the both of them, giving certification. (A/N: You guys should've been kept out of other people businesses 😂)

Spencer agrees, smiling at her. "Right, exactly...(starts to walk close to Olivia) focusing on our own business." He is saying this in a seductive way. She smiles while biting her lip, knowing there's tension between them. She looks down, blushing. Spencer notices.

"You blushing?" Olivia chuckles no. Spencer knows she's lying so he brushes it off.

"Ok. Whatever you say." Spencer gives her a kiss on the cheek as they walk back on the stands, watching the rest of the Beverly game go down.
