"Shel, you're not helping," Piper grumbled.
"Well, sorry," Shel huffed. "I'm trying, but I can't get this stupid thread through!"
Piper and Shel had taken it upon themselves to embroider a pride banner to hang up somewhere and had been working on it all month, but it was still nowhere near finished.
"Okay, done," Shel sighed. "Next letter."
"No, not that thread! It doesn't match the other green," protested Piper.
"Oh yeah," Shel said, swapping it for the right one. "Okay, there we go."
Piper held it up. "It looks pretty good. Only four more letters left to go."
"They're massive," Shel sighed.
"Yeah, but it's okay. We'll get it done before the end of the month."
"Happy pride, Pipes."
"Happy pride, Shel."
