Today, I officially start U.A. It's been about a week since I got my acceptance letter, and we had to wait until I got a uniform specially fitted (not many 15-18 year olds are the height of an 11 year old), so I couldn't go into school immediately.
Shō and I were walking through the school gates. I noticed a lot of people staring at us, of course a lot of them had seen me on the day of my entrance exam, but I doubt many of them thought me, and eleven year old girl, would actually get into a school like UA. That's when I saw the green-haired boy, Midoriya, I think his name was, coming towards us. He almost tripped over as he was, but managed to stop himself before he even got close to hitting the ground. He stood still and stared down for a second or two before continuing to run over to us. "Todoroki-kun! Todoroki-chan! It's so good to see you, Todoroki-chan! I knew you could get in! You did so well in the entrance exam after all, I don't see how you couldn't have gotten in, though I doubt a few people in our class would be as confident in you, seeing as you're a child and all." He beamed. There's that word. Child. I am not a child. Sure, I may be eleven, but my father is Endeavour. I had to grow up so much faster than many other children, otherwise...
"I'm not a child." I said, staring at Midoriya.
He just laughed.
"Of course you're not!" He doesn't sound sincere.
I can't blame him. Nobody else knows of what Endeavour does to us. Nobody else would believe us. He's the No.2 hero after all. Why would anyone believe that he abuses his children?
That's right, they wouldn't. He has so many fans. They'd probably think we're just rebellious kids making lies about their parents because they had a small punishment, like an electronic being taken away. Why would a hero hurt his precious children, when it's children (and of course adults) that he's supposed to protect?
I start thinking about things I want to forget and pull on the end of Shō's shirt, and he nods in understanding. "We should be going to class before we're late." And with that, we head off. Midoriya is left stood there, confused, because there's still another ten minutes until classes start.
That's life, I guess, you get left behind.
When we enter the classroom, not many people are there, besides a boy with blue hair and glasses yelling at a spiky-haired blonde kid about having his feet on the desk. I don't like the yelling, so I go sit in the corner, next to Shō's usual seat. I think.
Ten minutes go by and all of the class are here. Aizawa, the teacher, isn't though. That's when we hear a knock on the door. A shiny person with blonde hair, who's sitting closest to the door, goes and opens it, and Aizawa, holding a yellow sleeping bag, comes into the class.
He drones on about something until the bell goes, but I'm not really focusing on the words. I'm more focused on a kid with blonde hair with a black streak, because he reminds me of Pikachu.
Pokemon is an old game, but one of my favourites as a child, it was comforting to me after my "trainings".
Lunch time rolls around and I realise I haven't payed attention to anything in any of the classes beforehand. A boy with spiky red hair comes over to us and I think he was talking to the spiky blonde this morning and then he introduces himself as "Eijiro Kirishima". He asks us to come sit with him, and we agree, because what else is there to do? He said he just wanted to get to know us a bit more, which I find weird, because Shō's been in the school for a while, but I guess it makes sense since I know he doesn't really like talking to people.
The day ends too slowly for my liking. But it does, and there wasn't much else to say about it. Shō and I went home. That's about it.
