Kagura (Gintama fanfic)

Her choice

'I have no choice, I... Have too'

Kagura lunges toward sougo. Her fist slams into his face and he is pushed several feet back. She attacks again, not giving him room to defend himself she continues punching and kicking, but he seems to not have any injuries.

'Whats wrong with this guy...' She thought 'he's not even fighting back'

She knocked him to the ground and say on top of him, about to deliver the finishing blow. She raises her clenched fist and forces it towards his head, but right before her strong fist comes in contact with him, he catches it with his own hand. Shocked that he finally moved, kagura was caught off guard when he dipped her over, so now he was on top of her. Still to stunned to move, kagura looked straight up in his eyes.

She never noticed how complex his eyes were, given that they were a dark shade of red, which is an abnormal eye color. And as she stared into his alluring eyes, she no longer had the desire to kill him. Infact, she didn't want to kill him. She just couldn't.

"China....." Sougo says softly "why............ Why do you..."

He pauses, and a painful look creeps on his features.

"Why do I.... What?" Kagura asks curiously

He gazes into her sparkling blue eyes a little longer, then pulls away from his hovering position, and walks away.

When he was far enough away for kagura not to hear him, he whispered;
"Why do you hate me."

Sougo walked and walked until he didn't know where he was going anymore. he walked, and while he walked, he recalled the night he witnessed something he shouldn't have....
