Dont tell anyone

Kagura POV

"What happened!?" Sadist was in my doorway, and I was sitting against the wall, with two gun shots in my stomach. "Who did this to you?!" he yells. The surprised look on his face vanished, and was replaced with anger.

'At least he didn't see Kamui leave.' I thought. I was gonna tell him everything, about my brother forcing me to work for him, but then I remember what Kamui said; "I'll send people to watch you at all times, and if you tell anyone about this, I'll kill them."

"Listen," I began to tell him a painful lie. "It was just some robbers." I looked at the wall in front of me, and I could feel his eyes on me.

"You expect me to believe that you let some lousy robbers beat you up and shoot you?!" He yells. "Yeah right! like hell I'll believe that! and if there were robbers, why isn't anything stolen?! Why didn't you call for help!?"

"JUST DONT TELL GIN-SAN!!" I screamed a little to loud. I look up at him and start to cry. "Just don't tell anyone what you saw here. Forget about it!"

Silence. Not a word came out of his mouth. We stared at each other for what seemed like forever. I buried my head in my knees and sobbed so hard I got my dress wet. I finally look up, to see Sougo hadn't move a mustle. I stand up, and place my hand over my wounds, and limp towards the mess my brother made so I can clean it up before Gin-chan and Shimpachi come home.

I pick up a couple pieces of the broken door and Carrie them to the trash can.

"Why'd you come here anyway?" I asked, still looking at the ground.

"I wanted to ask you something." he says.

"And what was that?" I reply in annoyance

"Why are you so scared of your brother?" I froze. He asked that question at the worst time. I really want to tell him. I don't know why but I feel like I need to.

"He left me, with my sick mother, all alone." I continue to throw out the broken pieces of wood, and Sadist was leaning against a wall. "He's about your age now, but when I was younger, we used to be so close." I smile at the memories that came flooding my mind.

"We did everything together. He was my biggest role model and my only friend. But one day, he changed. I don't know why, but he wanted to surpass our father, by killing him. My brother is the one who took my fathers arm. I watched the whole thing. They had a long battle, and my father was angry. very angry. He was going to kill Kamui, but I stopped him."

I stopped and frowned at the thought.

"Is that why he abandoned you?" My thoughts were interupted by his words

"No," I reply "He abandoned me because he wanted to become stronger. the last thing he said to me, was; 'I have no use for a weakling like you.' "

I expected some kind of rude comment like 'Wow that's it?" or "He was right."
But I got non. I look up at Sadist and see his expressionless face.

"What?" I say

"It's nothing. I was just thinking about how you reacted every time I or anyone called you weak..." he trailed off.

Why was he thinking about that? it's like the least important part of the story!

"I should go now." he says, then takes his leave out of the "door".

"What was that about?" I say to no one.
"Oh well, now I have to go by a new door." I sigh at the thought of walking all the way to the store and all the way back. Ugh.
