Chapter 2

Bertholdt's POV:

We arrived at school, I was still in shocked of what Reiner just did to me. He grabbed me and ran out from the book shop. "We arrived on time!" He said while panting.

"Um..Bert? Bertie? Baby!" I snapped out of my thought. "Sorry- wait, what did you just called me?" I asked him and blushed a little.

Reiner's POV:

"What do you mean? I just called you Bertie? It's a nickname for you" I said trying to hide the fact that I called him 'baby' just to get his attention. "N-not that, after that. If I'm not wrong, you called me...bab-" He was cut off by his friends calling his name.

"Bertholdt!" He looked over at him and greeted him. "Oh hey Marco, Jean!" He greeted them.
"Oh, you got a boyfriend, Bert?" One of his friend asked.

It made him blushed, I'm not gonna lie, I also blushed a little. "The fuck dude? We just met this morning!" He said with an angry tone and flustered face, I didn't know he can fight back, I always tought he was an innocent cinamon bun.

"Bertholdt, language!"
I warned him.

Bertholdt's POV:

After he said that my face turned into a red tomato because what Jean just said. "Okay, your boyfriend looked angry and flustered so we better get going, bye Bert!" Jean said with a smirk. "For the last time, he is not my boy-"

"Language babe"
Reiner said while looking at me with a smile. "Don't cursing Bert! Or else you got punish by your boyfriend!" Marco said with a smirk on his face.

"Jean! Marco!" Marco just laughed and both of them ran away. "Why did you call me that?" I said with red blush dusted on my face. "I don't know?" He said with a slight chuckle.

The bell suddenly rang.

"See you soon cutie" He waved at me while I was a blushing mess. He's a flirt.

After School

Reiner's POV:

Finally, the school had ended. I was walking to my locker to take some stuff and then, I saw Bertholdt with his friends. "Why did you said that to me infront of him?" Bertholdt asked with an angry tone. "C'mon Bert, we all know you like him" The one with long face said, I think his name is Jean.

"I didn't know you were asking for death today, Jean!" Bertholdt commented, almost punch him on the face. I ran over them and held Bertholdt's hand, the other friend, I think his name is Marco, he's just dying of laughter and stop as I came there.

Bertholdt's POV:

"You need to calm down, Bert. Don't be too harsh at the horse" Reiner said, I almost laugh. He just called Jean a 'horse'.  "Are you trying to protect me or trying to make fun of my face?" Jean said with a disagree face, Reiner laughed.

"

Sorry, I just want to make sure Bert don't kill you" He said. I glared at him. "I am not a serial killer" I said with a sassy tone. "Oh, by the way, I wanted to ask you if you would like to go to the book shop earlier with me?" He asked.

I looked at Jean and Marco, they only have smirk planted on their face. "Well I don't kn-"

"C'mon Bert, pleaseee!" He begged. I mean, why not. I kinda want to spend time with him, though. "Fine" I agreed.

He gave me a smile and grabbed my hand. "See ya later buddy" He said to Marco and Jean. Can't bealive he can make friends that fast though.

We walked together and while we were walking, I just realized what I had said earlier when he said he was protecting Jean from being killed by me. Oh god, that was6 embarrassing. "Bert? You okay?" He asked me.

"Oh yeah um...sorry for earlier"

"Sorry for what?"
He asked, sounded confused. "I just realized what I said earlier, when you trying to protect Jean from being punch by me, and I said something embarrassing" I explained. He chuckled.

"Don't laugh" I said and feel like my face was burning. "Nah, it's fine" And after that we talked about school and stuff until we arrived at the book shop.

"We're here" He said. I looked down at him, I mean I'm taller than him so, yeah.

"So, what book do you want to buy?" I asked him. "The book you suggested to me earlier" He answered and I nodded.

After a while, he was about to give the money to the cashier and I heard something banging on the window, it was raining.

Shit, it's raining. Good, I will get soaked by water in time I get home. "Hey Bert, it's raining" He said, walking near me. "Y-yeah" I responded, not sure what to say.

"How far are your house from here?" He asked me. "About 20 minutes like that"

"20 minutes?! Oh hell no. I'm not gonna let you go home when the weather is like this" He said, frowning a little. "Reiner, no. I'm fine hey, what is this for?" He threw his hoodie at me.

"Wear it, I don't care what you were going to say but please, just wear it" He said. I have no choice than to wear it. After I wear it, both of us running to go to somewhere.

After a while of running we got to my place and of course, both of us were soaked by water.

Reiner's POV:

"Finally, we're home" I said, stretching a little. "Yeah we're ho- wait, am I at your place Reiner?" He asked, his face was so shock and I just can laugh. "Yeah, have a problem with that?"
I asked, raising a brow.

"Oh yes I have a problem with that! You could lost your popularity for hanging out with me, plus you take me to your place! You could lost your friend either!" He explained. Now I know why he tried to avoid me before, he scared if I lost my 'popularity' because I'm hanging out with him, he worried about a little things make he look more cuter.

"It's fine, Bert. I already told my friends about this so you don't have to worry!" I lied, but I hope it can make him calm down.
"Oh um...okay. I'm sorry for uh...making you fell
uncomfortable" He apologise, sounding embarrassed.

"Nah, it's fine. You better change now, you can take this hoodie and sweatpants" I gave him a new hoodie and sweatpants. "I, um, is this okay..?" He asked, sounding not sure.

"Can you change by yourself or you need me to help you change? I can help you change if you wanted to" I said causing him to look like a tomato. I just stared at him and smiled.

"I'll take this hoodie and sweatpants and I will change now" He said while grabbing the hoodie and sweatpants on his hand and ran away to the bathroom. I just have a smirk on my face. He's just too cute. Finally, I can be friends with him.

Bertholdt walked out from the bathroom, my hoodie looked bagy on him. I just laugh. "Too bagy huh?" I chuckled. "Yeah, thanks" He said.

Now, he completely looks like a kitten, a soft kitten, I mean, a softie. "What the fuck am I thinking?" I whispered under my breath. "Uh...you good?"

He suddenly asked me, didn't know he will hear me. "Oh, yeah! Sit here, I'll make dinner" I said and smiled at him. "Hey Reiner, can I help you make dinner?" He asked softly and smiled.

"You sure?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah!" He responded and gave me a soft smiled, I think I just melted.
