Chapter 11

Bertholdt's POV:

"Armin? Where are you going?" I shouted. He didn't answer me and he look like he's going out from school. "A-armin! It's still school time!" I said as he was about to reached the school gate.

"Armin!" I shouted.
Should I follow him or no? If I follow him, I will miss school. If not, I'm worried if he do something stupid.

"Fuck it! Armin!" I shouted and started following him. He ran to somewhere. I don't know where he was going but it seems like he was running into the...empty street?

"Armin! Stop!" I said as I held his hand and pull him for a hug. "I can't face him anymore" He said crying. "I will not face him, either" I said slowly.

"Let's go to my house" I said and he nodded his head, still crying. When we on our way, I received a text from Marco.

FrecklesJesus😇: Bertholdt? Where are you?

Bert💙: I'm on my way to go home.

FrecklesJesus😇: What?! Why? It's school time right now! I thought you were just going to meet Mrs.Ral?

Bert💙: I'm not feeling well.

FrecklesJesus😇: Reiner and Eren said you ran after Armin, and Eren said Armin was crying? What actually happened? Where's Armin?

Bert💙: I'll tell you after school, he's with me right now. Just tell all the teachers that both of us is sick. Only if they ask.

FrecklesJesus😇: Okay...bye

Bert💙: Bye.

I put my phone back on my pocket and tried to calm Armin who was still crying. "Armin, believe me. He will never ever ever play you. What Emily said is a complete lie" I said wrapping my hands around his shoulder.

"You're the person who said to me that Reiner is not using me and she is lying, I believed you. But now I tell you the same thing, she is lying. Why can't you believe me?" I asked softly. "Because maybe she's right, you and Reiner aren't dating yet. Me and Eren is dating and he can cheated on me with anyone. Emily is right, he's a flirt. He flirt with anyone" He said crying more.

"Shh" I shut him up and continued walking with him.

We made it to my house and I brought him to my living room. My family was on a work trip so I was alone in this house. "Armin? You want anything to eat?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"How about I'll make you hot chocolate?" I asked him. He nodded his head. I started to make the hot chocolate until Armin called my name.

"Bertholdt.." He called my name. "Yeah?" I responded. "I'm sorry if I'm overreacting" He said while hugging me from behind.

"It's fine, Armin. I understand how you feel when some random stranger come to you and said your boyfriend is cheating on you" I said hugging him back. "Here, your hot chocolate is done" I said smiling. He took that and said 'thanks'. After he drink it. His face light up.

"Wow! Your hot chocolate is so good!" He said and drink more. I just chuckled at my friend cuteness. "Thanks, I never knew I can make a good hot chocolate" I smiled and he laughed.

After that, we ordered something to eat since Armin said he is hungry and so do I. We ordered pizza and while waiting, we talked. "Hey Bert?" He called my name. "Yeah?"

"Do you like Reiner?" He said smirking. My face started to turn a little red. "What?" I asked.

"Don't play dumb, we all know you like Reiner, right? Or should I say, you love him?" He asked with a chuckle. "Even if it's true, I can't date hi- wait, how did you know?" I asked him.

"Marco told me and Jean told Eren. After that, both of them told Annie and Mikasa" He explained with a smiled.
These kids really exposing my secret! I thought it was suppose to be a joke.

"Bertholdt? You're spacing out. So, it's true you like him?" Armin asked. "Even if I said I like him, I can't date him" I sighed. "Why not?" He asked.

"I don't know if he's into guys, and he's probably straight-" Before I could continue my sentences Armin already interrupted me. "So your saying he is straight while he kissed you with full of love and offered you to sleep with him? You saying that he is not into you?" He asked with the 'duh' face.

I looked away and blushed. Before I could say anything, something was banging on the window. It's raining.

"It's raining" I said and turning on the light. "Yes, I know. Now tell me, do you like Reiner?" He asked. I just went to the couch and closed my eyes hoping that I would fall asleep.

"Don't ignore me! Wake up!" Armin said shaking my body. I burst out laughing. He looked at me and then he started laughing too.

"What do you want?" I asked, still laughing. "Answer my question, goddamn it!" He said, hitting me with a pillow. "O-okay, okay! Now stop" I laugh.

"Yes, I like him. But, nothing will happen between us" I explained. "Yes..."
He said slowly, I could still hear him. Before I could ask him what does he mean by 'yes', someone knocked on the door.

"I think it's the pizza man" He said. I nodded my head and get up from the couch and walked towards the door. After that I took the pizza from the delivery person and closed the door and walked into the living room.

"Here,the pizza has come" I said putting the pizza on the coffee table. After that we ate the pizza, not all since we are already full.

"So what now?" Armin asked. "Sleep" I answered shortly. "Mood" He laughed.

"Let's pretend both of us is sick" I said taking the blanket to cover myself. "Why?" He asked. "Marco will come here after school because I said both of us is not feeling well" I explained to him.

"How about Jean?" He asked. "Probably will follow Marco" I answered. "Hopefully they didn't bring Eren" He said with shaky voice.

"And Reiner" I said looking at him. "W-why?" He asked, sounding like he's crying. "Hey, don't cry. He will never do that" I said hoping he will forgot about what Emily said.

"Fine, but, why you don't want to meet Reiner? He probably worried about you since you get out from school just like that" He said. "I just, have the same reason as you" I said closing my eyes.

"Jealous?" He asked. Smirking.
Didn't he about to cry just now?
"Why would I?" I asked him back. "Because you like him" He said walking away. "Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Bathroom" He said walking to the bathroom. "Okay" I said and play with my phone. After a few minutes, someone was knocking on my front door, and at the same time, Armin came out from the bathroom. "Who knocking?" He asked.

"I was about to open it" I said and walked to the front door. I opened it and it was Marco and Jean. And then I realized that Reiner and Eren was with them...
