Chapter. 4 Upgrades

Y/n woke up this morning and went straight to hunting, for weeks he has been doing this to prepare with the boss batle he was about to fight.

He would stay in the plains even when night came, he kept on hunting and hunting until  he raised his level to level twenty five just in three weeks of hunting.

As y/n ran around the plains slicing heads of wolves, boars, bees and miniature kobolds he then stopped when suddenly hw heard sounds of fighting over the hill. so he finished his hunt and looked over the hill, there he saw klein witha couple of other people fighting hard taking down a pack of boars.

Y/n:"should i help them? Nah... They got this, plus they're fighting well if i joined they're only gonna get pissed they have to split the loot."

Y/n thought. He walked back to the main town where the plaza is at and went straight to the merchant areas
Selling his loot and unused gears.

After doing so he turns around and his someone knocing them both to the ground.

???:" hyah! "

Y/n:"oops, s-sorry miss..."

Y/n then gave the girl his hand and the girl took it.

???:"thank you!"

She bowed, and then turned around looking for some people.

Y/n:"are you looking for someone?"

???:"uh huh, my guild friends"

Y/n:"i see, have you tried looling at your massage inbox?"

???:"no,I'll do that then."

Y/n:"well?"

???:"they've been messaging me alot, they said they're on the next town. Ill message them back that I'm fine."

Y/n:"well why don't you come with me miss?"

Sachi:"call me sachi, and yes i would like it if you could help me."

Y/n:"well im y/n, lets go then?"

Sachi:"right!"

The two then walked together and talking with each other how they've been, suddenly a pack of bees was blocking the road.

Y/n:"well looks like were in trouble, get ready sachi."

Y/n then looks at sachi and she's shaking.

Y/n:"not used to fighting out here?"

Sachi nodded whilst her hands shook.

Y/n:"alrright, take this."

Y/n then gave her a spear.

Sachi:"what do I do with this?!"

Y/n:"simple point and stab, stay behind me got it?"

Sachi:"o-ok I'll try my best.."

Y/n:"good, lets go!"

The bees then charged, y/n dashed forward as he agro the bees to him.

Y/n:"now Sachi!"

Sachi then pointed her spear and then thrust and killed a bee.

Sachi:"i did it!"

Y/n:"focus sachi, you can do this!"

Sachi then focused and started attacking the bees infront of her, y/n on the other hand took care of the bigger looking ones.

As y/n and Sachi fought, the two fought side by side protecting each others backs. Well mostly y/n was doing the protection while Sachi was thrusting wildly but managing to kill a few.

Timeskip...

Y/n:"you did well.."

Sachi:"you think so?"

Y/n:"yep, you just need to train and you'd improve."

Sachi:"thanks y/n!"

Y/n:"your welome, also keep the spear."

Sachi:"thanks!"

The two then reached the second town, and sachi immediately was approached by her friends.

???:"your alright sachi thank goodness!"

Sachi:"yeah its all thanks to y/n!"

Sachi then turns around and saw y/n was nowhere to be seen.

Sachi:"you guys saw someone here?"

???:"nope, anyways sachi let go eat!"

Sachi:"eh? B-but guys i swear i was with someone!"

Sachi was then pulled by her friends where they went and had food, as sachi was being pulled away y/n stood near the shadow of a tree.

Y/n:"survive sachi, you can do this..."

Timeskip...

Y/n was on an npc black smith where he was upgrading his current low tier gear to their utmost limit, making them powerfull enough until y/n faces the floor two boss.

After this he then went to argo to ask how kirito was doing.

Argo:"well he's alright, actually he asked me about you. And i told him your hunting aswell"

Y/n:"what did he say?"

Argo:"same thing you said to me, you know you two your really odd you know?"

Y/n:"why is that?"

Argo:"well you two claim to be friends and yet, you two don't seem to worry about each other."

Y/n:"well me and kirito are best friends but half of the time we are rivals, we always like to butt heads and fight each other. That's why i won't worry much about him beacause i know he can fight well as good as me..."

Argo:"alright then, so when you actually plan to take down the bosss. And would you activate the teleport terminal for everyone?"

Y/n:"tomorrow, and no i don't plan to activate it."

Argo:"that's kinda selfish.."

Y/n:"i know, but if people won't try and survive then. They won't last thats just how it is."

Argo:"guess your right, anyways I'll come by if you ever need me got it?"

Y/n:"i got it, I'll be here if i need anything from you."

Y/n then walks back to his temporary home, once there he sat on a chair overlooking a window. Then suddenly he pulled up a round object it was a petrification item when thrown it will activate and turns anything it stuck ln into stone.

Y/n:"hope this works, man this is gonna suck if i die here."

He then gazed unto the window again and opened it, he then looked to stars and said.

Y/n:"I'll win this game, for everyone and anyone who dares to stop me will never succeed."

He then gazed unto the stars and sighed.

Y/n:"if only the stars look as bright as they are in real life, But i digress."

He then closed the windows and went to bed and laid, he then said.

Y/n:"victory will be mine, and thy enemies shall fall. Ehe"

He closed his eyes and went to sleep
