Freed was roaming around in the streets of Magnolia, Kinana and Mira said that they had a surprise for him and didn't allow him to enter that guild.
He didn't really wanted to go his house so he was just roaming around. Just then-
He felt someone tug at the thread. Freed stared at the thread someone was pulling it. Freed started following the thread.
After he discovered what was the purpose of the thread,
connecting two souls, he kept on trying to follow the thread to see where it would lead but to his disappointment the thread always took him to a dark tunnel.
Well, it was not really a dark tunnel but a graveyard. The thread went up to the graveyard and from there it disappeared.
It wasn't that his soulmate was dead. It was more like she didn't want him to see her. Why? He didn't know too. Wasn't she the one who asked him to find her two months ago....
Well, at least he knew that he was closer to her before the thread went far away beyond the oceans, to the places he couldn't go even if he badly wanted to. It was not within his reach but these past two months the thread ended in the graveyard.Today he felt someone tugging at the thread, he quickly ran. Followed that thread. He knew it would end at the graveyard, it always did but today. Today he had a feeling that he would get to see her. He wanted to, so he ran as fast as possible pushing people out of the way.
He reached the graveyard and there she was....
The thread was tied to a stick but he knew that she was her soulmate because he could see the that the other half of the cut off thread was tied to her pinkie.
Freed couldn't control himself. He was just so so so happy.
But something seemed off. His soulmate she was crying.
"I am sorry! I don't want you to see me like this!" It seemed that she didn't notice him yet.
Freed gulped and slowly approached her. He kept his hand on her shoulder and offered his handkerchief.
"Miss." He looked at her concerned. "Are you okay?""Felicity-sama. May I ask you something?" Alice held the thread carefully in her hand. She couldn't even see what she was holding but she could feel it, it felt like a thread.
"Umm...are you talking to me?" The girl lying on the bed pointed towards her, her skin looked pale, she seemed very thin as if she hadn't eaten for days, her black hair gleamed under the light and blue eyes sparkled with interest.
"Ha-hai." Alice nodded. "You are Felicity-sama."
"Ask." Felicity smiled.
Alice bit her lip trying to control her tears.
"I don't know if you can answer that or not b-but why do you always ask me to take this thing to the graveyard? I can't even see it and what is it actually?" Alice was frustrated, she couldn't understand what her master was doing. She seemed to forget everything, everything even her name, her family, friends, everything except one thing...
Every night, she would pick a knife and cut off something than give it carefully to Alice and ask her to take it to the graveyard.'Why would you forget everything!? Why would you forget me?! But not that! What is it that you give me!?" Alice cried, she fell on her knees and the invisible thing fell off her hands. "Why would you always forget who I am..." she cried.
Then she felt someone patt her head. She knew it was her master.
"Alice." Felicity smiled, eyes full of tears. "I will try to not forget it." She bit her lip to prevent herself from crying. Weakly she picked up a pen and wrote on her palm."A-L-I-C-E" Felicity showed her palm to the crying girl. "See now I won't forget." She bent down and Alice guessed that she picked up that invisible thing. "I won't forget so please take this to the graveyard." She handed Alice the thread.
"Understood." Alice nodded. "I will do it."
"Thank you Alice." Felicity smiled. "Be back soon. Alice."Felicity noticed the red thread on the stranger's finger.
"What's your name?" She asked, her face stained with tears.
Freed bent down before and smiled, he wiped her tears.
"Freed Justine, that's my name."
"Freed Justine." Felicity smiled. "I'll try to remember that."
