Chapter 8

**Janet P.O.V**

I wake up with a headache, I reach to grab my phone and check the time, it was 11:52 a.m.. I try an get up but Katrina had her arms rapped tightly around me, memories of last night begin to flood my mind

Katrina and I go to that bar she wanted to take me too, we drink 600 shots each and get really drunk, Katrina pins me against the wall and began to give me kisses on my neck, I grabbed her face and traced it before I kissed her and allowed my tongue to explore her mouth, Marie came in and saw us and I forgot after that. Then we came home and Katrina had told me a secret.. that she was in live with me. I decided to keep it a secret until I had figured out who I was.

I began to play with Katrina's caramel coloured hair, twirling it between my fingers as I thought about myself. A few minutes later Katrina bolts up

"Are you okay??" I ask her

"Da... just bad dream" Katrina answers

"About what?" I began to stroke her back just like she had done for me when I was scared

"I had to go back to Russia" Katrina replies

I stroke her back, "well you don't have to go Back, and if you did i would come too" I comfort her as she lays her head in my shoulder

"Janet?" Katrina asks

"Yea?" I answer

"Can you remeber anything from last night? I can't everything is just a blur" Katrina asks

I decide to lie "No Katrina i can't.. everything a blur for me as well" I reply

"Oh,okay. Should we check on kids?" Katrina asks

"Oh shit the kids! We haven't fixed them breakfast!" I reply

"Janet don't worry, Sergei and Misha probably fixed themselves and Riley breakfast" Katrina replied

"Lets check on them" I tell Katrina

"Okay" Katrina answers as she unwraps her arms from me

"Sorry.." Katrina says

I hug her "dont be. I enjoyed it" I reply with a smile

Katrina smiled at me as we got up and headed into the kitchen, sure enough Misha and Sergei were in there, but no Riley

"I think she is still sleeping" replies Sergei

"Da" Misha chimed in

I head back up the blue carpeted stairs and into there room, Riley wasn't there. Since their window was close to the ground I open it and stick my head out

"Riley?" I yell, hoping for an answer

I look to the side and see a peice of paper taped to the window

It read

"Janet, if you ever want to see Riley again I demand you come home alone and that I get full custody. If you even think about telling the police no one will ever see Riley again. Come by my house at 3 p.m., Alone - Roger"

After reading the note I just stare at it, my legs begin to shake as my body shuts down into a mental breakdown

**Katrina P.O.V**

After a few moments I decide to go see what was keeping Janet

"Boys i will be back, I'm going to check on Janet" I tell my sons

"Otay Mother" they both reply

I begin to head upstairs and down the long hallway. Once I had reached the boys room I see Janet but she was just standing there, limbs shaking uncontrollably, with a peice of paper in her left hand.

I walk over to her

"Janet? Are you okay??" I ask as I lay my hand on her shoulder, there was no reply

I pick up Janet in a bridal pose and take her to our room, I sit her down on the bed and begin to stroke her back and basically hold her in my arms

"Janet.. I need you to tell me what happened" I tell Janet

Janet hands me the paper in her hand. I begin to read it

"Janet, if you ever want to see Riley again I demand you come home alone and that I get full custody. If you even think about telling the police no one will ever see Riley again. Come by my house at 3 p.m., Alone - Roger"

Blood began to boil in my veins, I grab Janet's phone and was about to call Roger before she actually says something

"No Katrina, if he knows that you know that he'll just do something to her... I have to do what he says or Riley will never see the light of day again" Janet tells me

**Riley P.O.V**

I head back to my room as my mom and Katrina were getting ready to go a bar. Once I get back into my room I see mom standing at the window.. or at least I think its her

I open the window "mum? Is dat you?" I ask

"No sugar its Auntie Marie, I got a suprise for you, come here" the woman replies

"Otay!" I climb out of the window and shut it back, knowing I can reopen it. I didn't think anything wrong with me going to my aunt, its not like she's a stranger

Once I got to auntie Marie she picked me up, taped something to the wall outside the window, and began to walk away from my room

"Where are we going?" I ask

"Back Home sugar" she tells me

"But that is my home!" I protest

"Well not anymore!" She yelled at me

"But what about mum!" I add

"Shes not a good mom, your dad is better" she replied

"That is not true! Mum is da best mum ever! Dad was never there!" I yell at her

I remembered it in my head, now I was back at my old house with dad. I wanted to go home, back with mum and Katrina. I didn't want to be here

"Dad?" I ask

"What?" He asks a little to loud

"Tan I watch fwozen?" I ask

"What the hell is Frozen?" He asks

"Its my Favourite movie. Mum let's me watch it all the time" I respond

"No Rocky you can't watch that but Marie is bringing back McDonald's" he answers me

"My name is Riley" I tell him

"Oh right sorry Rock- Riley" he answers

I sigh. I wanted to go back to mom, dad didn't even know me. He didn't even love me. Hopefully mom and Katrina would come rescue me soon
