Don't Play With Me - A Jatrina Novel

Chapter Four

   **Katrina P.O.V**

I wake up and feel my arms rapped tightly around someone. I look down and notice that I was cuddling Janet. I instantly pull away and remove the Comforter from me and put it onto Janet. I grab my phone to check the time, its 6 a.m.. I went to my dresser and pull out a dark gray long sleeve shirt and a pair of Jeans. I slip them on and head to the kitchen.

Once I had reached the Kitchen I turn on my stove and decide to make breakfast for us all. I didn't know what Janet would like so I decided to make us all a ham and cheese sandwich.

I began to fry the ham a bit and melted the cheese with some hot butter. Once I had finished making the sandwich's I checked the time, the time it took to get dressed and make 5 sandwiches was 1 hour. It was 7 a.m.. I put the sandwiches on my island and grabbed a peice of paper. I began to write

"Dear Janet, I have gone to store to get important goods, I will see you when I get back. The boys normally would of just read a book if I left them home alone but you can do whatever you please with them. I will be back around 9 a.m. Unless I am slowed down. See you soon"

I stuck the note on the island under the plate the sandwiches were on. I put on my shoes and grabbed my bag. I got my car keys and locked the house door. I began to walk towards my black jeep.

I climb into my black jeep and begin to drive towards the store, around half way to the nearest wal-mart I see Janet's red jeep getting hit by a hammer held by a man. 'Its Roger' Katrina thought as she decided to play dumb. She pulled over into his driveway and gets out of her jeep

"What are you doing to that red jeep?" I ask calmly

"I'm destroying everything my ex-wife owned. Honey have you finished pouring the gas on the other stuff yet?" Roger asks as he continues to beat on the jeep with a sledge hammer, denting it more with each hit.

"Almost done Rogy!" A blonde haired woman that looked similar to Janet but with a stronger accent and way more make-up tossed a container to the side once it was empty

"Thanks babe!" Roger replies as he heads over to the large hole filled with items that look to of belonged to a woman and child. Roger lights up a match and drops it into the hole. The flame rises for a moment before dying down and burning the items in the hole.

"You must be Roger" I say after a while of the silence

"Yeah how do you know me?" He asks with a confused look on his face

"Your ex-wife is my best friend. She's staying at my place with Riley. And let me tell ya you made a huge mistake letting that woman go" I explain to him how I know him. I then lean towards his face and whisper into his ear

"teper' ona moya, tovarishch. yesli ty kogda-nibud' yeshche raz prichinish' yey bol', ya ub'yu tebya." Before smiling at him with an evil glare and walking back towards my jeep.

I climb into it and begin to pull away and back towards the store, adding a bunch more items to my mental shopping list. I arrive 12 minutes later, I grab a shopping cart and head towards the chip aisle. Once I arrive I grab some chips and around 10 bottles of wine. I then head to the children's section and pick out Riley some new clothes as well as a new carseat. I then head to the toy section and begin to pick out some frozen themed toys. I go to the woman's section and get Janet some new clothes as well, she looked to be around my size so I picked out my size in styles I think she would look good in. I then head back and go into the alcohol section and grab 10 bottles of Vodka, considering that was my water. I then grabbed an 18+ only card game of truth or dare for me and Janet to play. Once I had collected everything I needed I headed to the check out line, knowing this was going to cost a lot but I didn't care, I wanted to impress Janet and make her fall for me. Once I had reached the clerk I was in a good mood thinking of Janet's reaction. She put my total price as $323.98c. I gave her 3 hundred dollar bills and then 2 20 dollar bills. I tell her to keep the change and began to walk back towards my jeep. After loading every thing and keeping one bottle of Vodka to drink while driving since it never got me drunk not even tipsy. I parked the cart and climbed into my jeep, I took a sip of Vodka and checked the time, it was 9:30! I put my Vodka away and began to drive back home.
