** time skip, it has now been a month since Janet entered her comatic state, Katrina was discharged from the hospital yesterday and now has a large scar on her shoulder, a small scar on her cheek, and a medium sized scar on her leg **

** Katrina's P.O.V **

I sigh as I started driving to Carol's, she didn't know I had been discharged. I would have to tell Riley about Janet being in a coma, and then I would have to try not to break down when I saw her, how was I going to live like this?

I still believed Janet would wake up, I talked to her every day even if she couldn't hear me I still did. I turned into Carol's drive way and climbed out of my jeep. I then walked to her door and knocked on it

A few moments later Carol came to the door

"Katrina?" She asks

"Da I was discharged from hospital" I answered

"Oh that's great!" Carol smiled

"Kids! Your mother is here!" Carol yelled out

I hear tiny footsteps coming towards the door, a few moments later the kids appeared.

"Mum!" Exclaimed Riley

"Mother!" Exclaimed the twins

"Hello to you too" I smiled

"Why don't you come in?" Carol suggested

"Da that would be good" I smiled and walked into Carol's house

"I have to tell Riley Janet is in a coma" I told Carol

"Here, I'll take the boys into the kitchen while you and Riley talk in the living room" Carol put a hand on my shoulder and smiled at me

"Thanks Carol" I smiled and headed towards the living room

"Riley! Can you come here for a second?" I called out to Riley

Riley ran into the room

"Yea?" She asked

"Riley i have some news.." I say, not looking at her, I couldn't bare to see her face when I told her about Janet

"Is mum otay?" Asks Riley

"Da.. she is just in a coma" I tell Riley

"What's that?" Asks Riley

"A coma is where a person goes to sleep-" I was cut off by Riley

"Forever?!" Riley asked

"Sometimes, but sometimes they wake up after a while" I tell her

"Is mum going to be asleep forever?" Asks Riley

"I don't know Riley..." I admitted

Riley ran up to me and hugged my legs, I picked her up and held her, she was crying.

I began to cry as well as I sat down on the couch, continuing to hold Riley.

"I really hope mum wakes up soon.." Riley says through tears

"Me too Riley.." I agree as I hold her tight, she was all I had left of Janet untill she woke up, if she wakes up..

After I comforted Riley I smiled at her

"Why don't you go play? We'll be leaving soon" I tell Riley

"Otay!" She answers as she rushed out of the room, Carol comes in with a glass of Vodka

"Is this water?" I asked Carol

"No it's Vodka, I picked some up for when you got out" Carol answers with a smile
