Chapter 7: The First Date

Maho was in her room getting ready for your date. She didn't want to get too overdressed so that her mother wouldn't become suspicious.

She walked out of her room and went to the front door, and opened it. She yelled, "I'M GOING OUT WITH ERIKA!" She heard her mother yell back, "OKAY!" Maho left her house and walked two blocks, to your car.

She ahd told you to park two blocks away as her mother didn't approve of her hanging out with boys.

She got into your car and you told her, "You look beautiful." Mah blushed and said, "Th-Thanks. You look quite handsome your self." To be honest, the most that you put on was a pair of black jeans, black sneakers, a green polo shirt, and a watch. Nothing fancy, but appropriate enough for a first date. Let's also add to the fact that it was 26 degrees outside and you didn't want to feel like a lobster being cooked.

Maho had put on a simple red dress and red heels. She asked, "What are we doing first?" You shrugged your shoulders and said, "I don't know. Go for a walk in some park?" Maho giggled and told you, "I've never seen you so unprepared." You chuckled, before telling her, "Well going on a date with a beautiful girl isn't something that I'm good at. Besides, this is the first date that I've ever been on." Maho blushed and muttered, "Just drive." You laughed and started driving.

After driving for a few minutes, you found a nice little beach and parked your car. The two of you got out and started to walk. You noticed that the sun was starting to set and decided to sit down, and Maho looked at you confused. You pointed at the sunset, and she sat down beside you. While you were watching g the sunset, you saw dolphins jumping out of the water.

Maho said,"It's beautiful." You muttered, "It is." You smiled and told her, "Come here." She looked at you confused and followed you. You stepped into the water and a dolphin swam up to you.

You gently put your hand out and let the dolphin smell it. Then it allowed you to pet it. You told Maho, "Come on. Pet it." Maho was hesitant, but slowly put her hand towards it.

You turned her hand around so that the dolphin could smell her palm, and it allowed her to pet it. It made cute little dolphin noises.

You told her, "There are days when I wish that I was a dolphin. Just imagine that kind of life, swimming in the oceans all day without a care. Must be a nice life." Maho said, "Yeah. It must be."

(A/N: This is actually true even in real life. There are days when I actually feel like that.)

With Shiho

Shiho picked up her cell phone and Takashi asked her,"What are you doing?" Shiho told him, "I'm going to call Erika and see how she and Maho are doing." Takashi said, "Okay."

Shiho called Erika's number and on the other end she heard, "Hello?" Shiho, "Good evening Erika." Erika said, "Oh, good evening Ms. Nishizumi. How can I help you?" Shiho said, "I just wanted to see how the two of you are doing." Erika asked, "The two of us?" Shiho answered, "Yes. you and Maho." Erika told her, "Umm...Ms. Nishizumi, Maho isn't with me."

Shiho asked, "What?" Erika said, "Yeah, I'm at home getting ready for bed." Shiho said, "I see. Sorry for bothering you." Erika told her, "It's really no problem." Shiho then hung up and asked, "How could Maho lie to me?" Takashi said, "It's not the worst thing that happened. Remember when I tried to keep you a secret?" Shiho said, "Of course. It was embarrassing. You said that I was a hologram. Then your younger brother tried to throw a ball through my face and ended up breaking my nose."
