Chapter 8: Getting To Know Wilhelm

Maho had woken up and gotten dressed before going down to the kitchen.

When she got into the kitchen, and saw her mother. Shiho didn't look at Maho, but said, "We go to Wilhelm's apartment after breakfast." Maho said, "Yes mother." And continued to eat her breakfast in silence. After breakfast, Maho and Shiho got into Shiho's car and drove to your apartment.

When they arrived, they went upstairs and knocked on your door. You opened the door and Maho said, "Wilhelm, you look terrible." You said, "I know. I'm stressed out, pissed off, I've been up all night, so I haven't gotten a wink of sleep, and I've drank thirty pots of coffee already. Come in, please." They walked in and you said, "Excuse the mess. These delegational visits are a nightmare to organize."  Klaus cane intit the living room and said, "I just got off the phone with the French delegation. They want to walk down a red carpet when they arrive." You asked him, "Do they also want a lemonade, foot massage, and musical request? I'm not setting up a red carpet for them." Robert sarcastically said, "But it's the French delegation. We have to do it." You told them, "I don't care if it's Jesus Christ himself; I'm not setting up a red carpet." You turned to Robert and asked, "Did you fund out any other information about the delegational visit?"

Robert nodded and said, "It's actually a fancy party or ball than a visit. Every one that has some position within the government has mandatory attendance, and you need to have a partner." You asked him, "How do you know so much Robert?" He told you, "I spoke with the führer. After getting reconnected a bunch of times."

You nodded and asked the Nishizumis, "Can I get you something to drink or eat?" Maho said, "No thansk. Just sit down, before you fall down." You sat down and asked, "Robert, Klaus, can you give us some privacy?" Tbey nodded and Klaus said, "We'll go look for a place to host the ball or whatever it is." They left and you looked at Maho and Shiho.

Shiho said, "I heard that you love my daughter. Is that true?" You nodded and she asked, "Why do you love her?" You said, "Maho's smart, funny, beautiful, thoughtful, caring, doesn't take crap from anyone. My point is that she's extremely strong and isn't afraid to state her opinion and that's why I love her." Shiho was unimpressed. She asked, "How far are you willing to go for her?" You said, "You saw how far. I would torture and kill anyone who has or would hurt her. I don't care who their parents are, or what their societal status is."

Shiho said, "But surely you don't expect her to  be with someone like you." You asked her, "What do you mean by 'someone like me'?" Shiho told you, "Isn't it obvious? A cold-hearted murderer, who tortures people out of pure joy." Shuho just pissed you off, but you didn't show it or let it take control of you. Instead, you calmly told her, "Mrs. Nishizumi, I don't enjoy doing what I do, but if I have to torture and kill people, then I will. For Maho, I would do it without second thought. When I'm with her, my first and top priority is her safety and we'll being. So if you think that I would let Maho get hurt, you're wrong. I would rather blow my own brains out, then see Maho get hurt."

Shiho asked, "Is that why you killed Yahiko Izumi?" You glared at Shiho and she froze in fear. You told her, "That son for a bitch deserved what he got. He raped Maho, and his luck ran out when the SS and I got involved. What Yahiko Izumi did to Maho was unforgivable and I orchestrated true justice. Had you read his file as I did."

You looked at Maho and smiled, before looking back at Shiho and told her, "Mrs. Nishizumi, I don't need you to like or respect me, but if Maho wishes to date me, then I won't deny her that chance and experience. I realize that you want to protect her, but some decisions, she needs to make on her own. Now if you'll excuse me, I am incredibly busy." Maho and Shiho nodded and left. You went to get a drink from the fridge and saw a note that said , "History presentation with Koume, on Friday, December 6th."

Time-Skip- December 6th

You were in school, sitting at your desk, in history class. Honestly, you didn't even want to be here, as you haven't slept in quite some time and were extremely stressed out. The teacher said, "Wilhelm, can you and Koume come up to give your presentation?" You both nodded and went up to yhe front if the class. Koime gave the introduction to the topic and when it was your turn to start talking, you started feeling weak, and light-headed. You thought that you were going to faint. You had been experiencing chest pains for the past few days, but dismissed them. You calmed down a bit and when you started talking, you felt yourself have a shortness of breath.

You gripped the teacher's desk and bent over, breathing heavily. Koume walked over and placed a comforting hand on your back asking, "Are you okay?" You nodded and suddenly, you fe onto the floor, passed out, and started seizing. Koume screamed and the teacher ran to the front of the room. He started doing chest compressions and yelled, "SOMEONE CALL 911!" A student took out their pjoen and dialed 911, while Koume called Robert and Klaus. Not even two minutes later, Robert and Klaus came rushing into the classroom and asked, "What happened?" Koume said, "I don't know. He clutched his chest, and stared to breath heavily as soon as he staretd talking. The he grabbed onto the teacher's desk and fell onto the floor. Then he started having a seizure." Klaus asked, "Did you call an ambulance?" Koume nodded. Robert said, "Good, you go with Wilhelm, while Klaus and I inform Maho." Koume nodded and the paramedics came.

With Maho

Maho was in English class when her whole class heard frantic knocking on the door. The teacher sighed and when she went to open the door, Klaus kicked it in and Robert said, "Maho, Wilhelm's in the hospital." Maho, obviously worried, asked, "What happened? Is he okay?" Klaus said, "We don't know. Koume told us that he collapsed on the floor and passed out. If you want, we'll take you there." Maho nodded and left without asking the teacher.

They got into Klaus' car and Kalus started speeding like a lunatic, nearly committing vehicular manslaughter on multiple occasions. They arrived at the hospital in record time and saw Klume in the waiting room. Koume hugged Maho and told her, "They just put him in a room, a few minutes ago. I haven't heard anything from the doctors as of yet." Maho nodded.

A doctor came and asked, "Is one of you Maho Nishziumi or Koume Akaboshi?" Maho and Koume nodded before identifying themselves. The doctor said, "Your friend had a pretty nasty heart attack, and a really bad seizure, his stress levels are through the roof, and quite frankly he's lucky to be alive. Can anyone tell me what may have caused this?" Robert said, "Wilhelm is the Reichsfüher-SS, and was put in charge of setting up a delegational visit, last minute. Ever since then, he hasn't been sleeping or taking breaks. He works non-stop, stresses himself out, and Klaus and I can't do anything about it. He had thirty pots of coffee per night since he started organizing this whole thing, and yeah. That's pretty much it."

The doctor told them, "All right. You can go see him, but try not to stress him out too much. He should be ready to go home tomorrow. We just want to keep him here over night to monitor how he does. You should also find someone to watch him." They nodded and decided that Maho would watch you.

Maho, Koume, Klaus, and Robert went to your room and walked in. You said, "Hey guys. What happened?" Klaus said,  "You nearly worked yourself into an early appointment with Christ. Doctor said no more work until you get your stress under control. So we decided to have Maho watch you, until then." Maho said, "You'll be staying at my house wether my parents like it or not, and the two of us will be spending every day together." You asked, "Klaus, Robert, Koume, can you guys give me and Maho sometime in private?" The three of them nodded and left. You said, "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you what I was feeling. I didn't want to worry you." Maho said, "You made me even more worried by not telling me. We could have avoided this."

You said, "I know, and I'm sorry. I want to spend as much time as I can with you, before I go back to Germany." Maho smiled and kissed you beige saying, I'll pick you up tomorrow. And lucky for you, school ended today. At least for the holidays." You smiled and kissed her, and she kissed back and gave you  a smile before she left.
