You were currently in the library. You had been a former citizen of L'manberg, but when you realized what it was becoming, you had escaped with Eret. You didn't want to, but you knew that it was turning into something dark. Eret had become king in agreement for "betraying" L'manberg, though you knew he was just doing what was right.

Eret had allied with the Dream Team, but you decided to stay neutral. You were the strongest fighter on the SMP along with Dream and Techno, and you knew that fighting alongside Dream wouldn't be fair to your former allies. Your friends. You truly wanted them to live, but the price of government and corruption was too high.

You now lived with Eret in his castle. He had made a special section in the library just for you, filled with stationary and aesthetic lights. You smiled at that. Eret really cared for you and always looked out for you.

You were a well-known author on the SMP, and many of your books were on the bookshelves of the people. You had even discovered a few of the enchantments for various weapons, and it had been a game-changer for everyone. You were currently trying to find another enchantment. Many of the historical textbooks you had read had pointed to a new, undiscovered enchantment, but you had only discovered 2 of the 30 lines required for the enchant.

You sighed. You needed a break, but you felt like you were so close. It felt like just one more piece of information could be the key to everything.

"Y/n, you've been working on the book for a while now. I think you should take a break."

You hear the deep voice speak and turn around.

It was Eret.

He was wearing his usual attire: a red cape, a fancy suit, and luxurious black pants. On the top of his head was a golden crown. Normally you would smile at his sight, but you were genuinely tired. You just wanted to collapse into his arms, but you also wanted to find this last piece of information.

"I really want to keep working on this... it could be so beneficial to people if I could find a new enchantment for crossbows..." you say tiredly. The hours of staying up were really getting to you, but you couldn't sleep. Not now.

"Please, I really want to spend time with you too. You've been in this library the ENTIRE week and you only slept a couple of hours per day. Yesterday I saw your head down on the table. You were using your notes as a pillow," he groans in frustration. He was tired and had woken up just for you. You almost smile, but you turn around and pretend to ignore him by continuing to read the new textbook you had just pulled from the shelves.

Eret grabs your wrist and causes your forehead to collide into his chest. You stiffen at the sudden gesture, and Eret leans down until his lips are nearly touching your ears.

"That was an order from your king, princess," Eret whispers, his voice an octave deeper than it was usually was. You look up at him and glare, though a blush was peppered across your cheek. Eret releases a long sigh. You try to get away from him, but his hold on you only tightens, though not enough to hurt you.

He suddenly grabs you and carries you bridal style. Your eyes widen as you look up at your king. His hair bounced up and down as he walked while his crown remained stationary. He keeps his grip on you for minutes, walking through hallways and corridors until you both reach... his room?

Sure, you went in his room to cuddle with him sometimes, though you usually went just to talk with him or get him to read with you, but you had never slept next to him before. He knew that you weren't a big fan of physical affection most of the time, and he loved peppering your face with kisses because of it.

Or at least, you pretended you didn't like it.

In reality, you always enjoyed what he did. You always wanted to spend time with him, but you pushed those feelings down because you didn't want to be a bother to him. Eret softly lays you on his bed. He tucks a strand of hair away from your face and kisses you on the forehead. You look at him, your expression emotionless, but a hint of a blush peppered on your cheek.

"...t-thank you..." you mutter quietly. He lays in bed next to you, and you turn your body away from him. He gets closer to you and whispers.

"I didn't get that, could you repeat that again darling?"

The nicknames always made you flustered, even though you tried to keep calm. You take a deep breath.

"I said what I said. It isn't my fault you didn't hear me the first time," you huffed. You kept your eyes, trying not to fall asleep, but you feel his heavy hands wrap around your waist. He pulls you into your chest. You go to say something, but you notice him softly snoring while hugging you like a teddy bear. You let out a small chuckle and ruffle his hair.

"I hate you so much," you say while smiling at his sleeping and peaceful face. You then snuggle into his arms and close your eyes. You hear a small chuckle from him.

"You fell for me so quick..." he murmurs as this chin lays on your forehead. You scoff, but a smile lingers on your face and you snuggle deeper into his arms. You were tired, and you didn't care if he thought you were being clingy. With his arms brought safety and protection... and love. You slowly drift off to sleep, but not before feeling the ghost of a kiss on your forehead. You both loved each other to the end of the moon, and that was enough to make you happy forever.
