Remember when I turned a few characters into Pokemon?
I'm at it again. Miss it much?
This time a friend (SpyroAndToothless) suggested I satisfy my drawing Pokemon as stuff crave by drawing a couple of MHA characters as Pokemon. And since one of the characters ST suggested I just happened to learn the full backstory of earlier that day, I decided to go for it.
So here's Dabi as a Blaziken and Himiko as a Zoroark.

I have now signed myself to not only possibly being the first person to give a Zoroark two ponytails, but also I now will forever give Dabi the nickname "burnt chicken nugget". 😂
The designs turned out bada** as heck and I'm proud of them. I *still* haven't gotten time to watch My Hero Academia yet unfortunately, but maybe one of these days I can start looking into the mangas since I'm already in the process of getting OPM, Legend of Zelda, and/or Soul Eater mangas whenever possible.
And since some of you guys like looking at pictures of the design process and linearts and such, I'll share some additional pics I took in case something bad happened to the drawing before completion.

Lineart of the two before I started coloring, taken after I finished inking Himiko Zoroark. I thought I also had one with just Dabi Blaziken, but maybe I accidentally deleted it at some point or just forgot to take one of him. Oh well. Here's the lineart of the both of them anyway.

This is halfway through the coloring, just after I finished coloring Dabi and the night before I started coloring Himiko. And I put a quarter in the shot to show you guys just how large the drawing is irl. I couldn't find my usual sketchbook I use for this sort of thing so I decided to use the more professional-ish sketchbook I got from my teachers as a graduation gift earlier this year. And honestly, I'm super happy I didn't use a smaller sketchbook for this- I can't imagine this being in a smaller sketchbook at all. :P
So yeah, I made Dabi and Himiko into Pokemon (I swear Blaziken was more than perfect for Dabi, they even have the same sky blue pupil color), and I can see Zoroark being in Himiko's party.
I wouldn't mind doing this with more MHA characters. I feel like Mina would be particularly fun, given her character. If you guys want to give me character suggestions you're welcome to. Can't promise I'll do it, but I'll have a look at least. Not just MHA characters, please, I don't know all their names yet 😅.

P.S. Just saying, Dabi may be a bit screw-loose but this man endured so much pain and managed to pull off publicly calling his dad out on his parenting bs. He may be a villain but you have to give Dabi at least a bit of respect for doing that.
