Yuuto sat in his in his class quietly, he hadn't noticed before from his seat in the back left corner of the classroom but the twins and Haruhi from the host club were in the same class as him, Yuuto was so hell bent on peace and being left alone that he never noticed their presence before. However, after his small outburst, the twins and Haruhi were unyielding in their belief that Yuuto should sit next to them.
His books were set out neatly on the desk, all of his notes, a notebook for every class he had for the day, were color coded and each had important pages easy to find using small sticky notes with the page title, this was especially useful when it came to maths and the triple science equations he struggled to memorise.
He stuffed his notebooks back into his bag, placing another mint onto his tongue. The tin of expensive mints became something Yuuto treasured.
"Oh! You still have those mints?" Hikaru grinned mischievously. His twin, Kaoru, nodded his head and spoke, "Yeah, you must like those!"
"Gift from Honey," he briefly replied, a hint of a small smile appeared on his face but Yuuto contained his emotions. He kept remembering Kyoya and how the raven haired host had held his shoulder soothingly, and went through a breathing exercise step by step to help him.
"Yeah? We should Tell Kyoya to invest in some more," Kaoru, the level-headed twin, hummed. "A few tins of mint?"
"Not just any mints, Hikaru, Yuutos favourite mints," Haruhi reminded the elder, more childish twin.
Yuuto felt the awkwardness surround him, he couldn't seem to get along with Hikaru and he couldn't understand why. Was it the childish games the twins always played? Or was it the fact he was just too childish and was always pulling pranks on people that Yuuto couldn't get himself to trust the elder male.
"Yuuto, are you coming to the host club after this?" Haruhi asked, looking to her side and gazing at Yuuto directly, he didn't know how to reply so he blinked absent mindedly and shrugged. "You don't have to make a decision now, Is your phone alright after that event?"
Yuuto nodded immediately, grabbing his phone from his pocket and showing the phone to Haruhi. The screen was severely cracked but the phone itself still worked. Getting a new screen wasn't the end of the world, in fact, it would've been better for Yuuto if the phone stopped working entirely. He placed the device back in his pocket. No phone meant his mother couldn't contact him,and his Godfather couldn't complain to him about how he was being insensitive towards his mother's feelings. No, yuuto had had enough.
"That's good, you should replace the screen later, don't hurt yourself on it," Haruhi advised, knowing if Yuuto ever used the phone, every time he scrolled, a layer of skin on the top of his thumb would shred. "We could get Kyoya to schedule a date to get it fixed,"
Yuuto shook his head, he was happy with how things were. If he were to get injured using his phone that'd give him an excuse for his mother if the spoilt woman ever showed up at his apartment demanding explanations. "Go - Host Club - Will Go To,"
