Yuuto wasn't in a good state after the event with his mother. His body was sluggish and every moment was just agony, he'd never been in so much pain before. Walking down the corridors was harder than it looked, his waist and ribs hurt and he couldn't help but limp after every step he took. The other students stared intensely at him, making him cower once more as he couldn't help but remember the eyes of his savage mother. He shook in his shoes.
"Yuu-Chan!" The familiar voice of honey called from down the hallway. Upon hearing the loud cheery voice, Yuuto flinched. He stood straight despite the jolts in his waist, legs and ribs, he couldn't let honey notice. It'd only cause more unnecessary problems and Yuuto was already under pressure. He smiled.
"H — Honey,"
"How are you, Yuu-Chan?" He giggled as a pink blush painted over his cheeks momentarily. "Are you coming to the host club again?"
"Sure..."
But as soon as he replied, he regretted it. It'd only cause him more stress and Yuuto just wasn't ready for that. He wanted to be alone, peace, he craved it. No wonder he chose to stay alone all of his life. There was something about silence that was comforting, there was no drama, for one, and no toxic friendships either. No pushy people around him and for the most part, he was never noticed. The flute was the only thing he had, but even then Yuuto thought of the flute as his curse.
He held onto his collar tightly, fiddling with the chain around his finger to ease his hyperactive mind. Honey lead him down the hall with Mori standing guard behind him. The feeling of being overwhelmed, but by noting in particular, crushed him, he closed his eyes and shook his head - as if to shake the thoughts away.
Lavender, want to smell it again. Relaxing, I like lavender. Earl grey and mints too, more there? I want some more.
They moved through the hallways confidently, Honey and Mori flattering each girl that said hi to them, so it did take a while to get through the building. It was always a squeal from the ladies, Honey and Mori waving, Honey smiling brightly, the girls waving their hands in front of their face, then blushing and the nose bleeds and more squealing and wow, could you guess what happens next? The cycle repeats. Shocker. It was almost amusing how the girls could constantly be embarrassed and feel flattered by anything the hosts said, it was the same everyday, how didn't they get bored?
Maybe he'd never understand hosting culture, it wasn't his thing anyway.
He continued to follow as he was lead by Honey and Mori, straight through the doors of, unusually, the green house. He was greeted by the fresh scent of tropical fruits and foliage. Trees stood tall and proud All the way to the roof and bright flowers were littered all around the glass house, they were colors that ranged from Neon yellows to hot pinks. Jungle plants were hidden all around the greenhouse, honestly, it genuinely looked like a jungle with the tall plants and exotic colours. Yuuto was bombarded by the hosts, The twins especially who had apparently taken a liking to him, but he backed away before they could wrap their arms around his shoulders.
