Maisy represents Pepper's favorite restaurant cook with the same name. Magic represents Pepper's favorite magician. Five and Six represent Pepper's imaginary friends who represent Pepper's stillborn baby sister. She couldn't figure out if she was going to be an introvert or an extrovert thus creating the imaginary friends. Chime represents her mute friend who died in a car crash. Eight represents Pepper's mute friend's autistic older brother.
