Cosette had grown quite accustomed to moving, she had done it every year ever since her father had rescued her from her misery in the Foster system. Still, even though it was a normal part of her life, there was always some pain in leaving, but this year would be different. Her father had promised that she could stay at this school for all of high school.

Musain High School, so this would be her high school, she would ever attend. The beautiful brunette stood in front the large school, it was definitely the biggest one she'd ever attended. After taking a deep breath, and saying a few silent prayers Cosette walked through the doors of her new school.

As she entered she was greeted by the smiling face of a petite blonde. "Hello, you must be Cosette, I'm Muschietta, everyone one student council gets to show around a new student, and I got assigned to you!"

Muschietta seemed genuinely happy to be showing her around. "So what's you first class?"

Cosette peered down at her schedule, "I have world history," she said with a smile.

"Oh perfect! I have that too, you're going to love Mr. Jameson, my sister said he's a great teacher. Just follow me, is room is right down the hall."

She nodded and followed Muschietta to her first classroom. As they entered Muschietta was greeted by numerous students, she appeared to be quite popular.

"Hey Schetta, come sit with us," a group of boys, along with a few girks were all sitting in the front corner of the room.

"Coming guys," she said with a smile. "Come on Cosette you can sit with us."

She didn't say anything, but simply smiled and nodded, following her to where the group was sitting.

"Hey, Schetta, great to see you," a handsome blonde smiled. The two began talking, Cosette could clearly tell they were into each other.

Cosette took her seat among the group, as she gazed to the left of her, her blue eyes met with the dark brown one's of the boy across from her. Cosette found herself lost in his eyes, her whole world melting away. As the two gazed into each other's eyes, they looked deep into each other's souls.

The boy spoke, breaking the silence, "I-I don't believe we've met," his voice was gentle, "I'm Marius Pontmercy." He said, extending his hand. Cosette's heart raced, there was something about Marius that made her know she was going to love him.
