Kurapika pov

I stare at the bar with slight disgust. What if this was a bad idea? No, I knew for a fact that doing this was a bad idea. Sighing I look over to my right where Leorio stood waiting for me to take a step forwards. Instead I took a step backwards turning around as slowly as possible. He still noticed.

"No, come on Kurapika. One drink won't kill you." he said grabbing my wrist and began to pull me into the bar. I growl under my breath telling the man to let me go.

"I'm underage!" I hissed in his ear, he ignored the comment and found us seats. I glare in his direction as he practically forced me into a seat.

I watched in horror as Leorio bought us both expensive drinks that would surely make both of us lose our cool and good composure.

"C'mon kurapika have a little fun, you've been all worked up with this and that about the spiders." Leorio said his voice loud and inpossing. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that a man with black hair lifted his head and stared at me and my friend for a few seconds.

"Shut up, don't speak so loudly." I retort taking a tiny sip of the drink. It tasted good which lead to me downing the glass within a minute. A horrible Idea.

...

My vision blurred as I watched Leorio stagger his wobbling legs off to the restroom. A few minutes after he left I felt a hand on my shoulder and someone whisper in my ear.

"What lovely aura you have," the voice said. I weakly turn my head to see dark colored eyes and black hair. Somewhere in the back of my mind screamed a voice telling me to get far away from this person but another part told me to just stare. I listened to the part of me made decisions leading to disaster.

"H-hi." I stuttered out letting the man turn me around in the chair I was seat at. He wore a simple formal looking suit and giant earrings.

"uh uh uh, I wasn't finished with my greeting. But yes, hello there Chain user." he whispered. A moment later something struck my forearm making me even more drowsy. It stung just a little and as I let my eyes fall to see what had happened I fell into darkness.

...

I woke up looking at a nice looking hotel room. I soon found out it wasn't a hotel room. I sit up in the large plush bedroom and heard to a light sound of metal on metal. I take the covers off me, my eyes widening at the sight of a chain wrapped around my ankle. That must have been the clanking noise I heard earlier. I look at the exit wondering how long this chain would extend to. I get out of bed and walk to the exit only to get stuck a few strides away from the door. Dread began to seep into my still sleepy and dazed mind.

I step back and walk to the window happy I was able to look out it. I was in some building and it was clear, very clear that it wasn't a hotel in the slightest. the ground was filled with rotting grass with rubble chunks scattered everywhere. Despite the rumble and sad looking grass I found the scenery quite lovely to look at.

I was still looking out the window when the door opened making me jump and turn around to see who it was.

My heart stopped at the face that I was met with.  I knew who it was, it was a man I swore to kill and hated with a fiery passion but at the same time I stared at him like he was the most beautiful thing in the world.

And he was, he was gorgeous. I had thought that outside looked lovely and wonderful but looking at the man I hated seemed to make the previous beauty dim in my eyes.

"I thought I'd check up on you since you've been sleeping for an entire day." Chrollo said his eyes looking me up and down. I take a step backwards pushing my back into the glass window.

"It was you yesterday at the bar. How did I not know?" I whisper out loud though both of us knew the answer. I had been drunk and in my drunken state my brain had worked against me and got myself into trouble.

I looked at the Chain User. When I carried him into the hideout unconscious the other members of the troupe had asked in amazement wondering how I had gotten the boy. I hadn't even had to fight him. He just fell right into my grasp, literally.

Now looking at him awake and not drunk was different. He was wearing his tribal clothing and his blonde hair fell loose at his shoulders, granted it was a bit messy from slumber but it was for the most part, smoothed out. His eyes seemed had shifted colors and were sporting a lovely shade of scarlet. Out of nowhere the Kurta got defensive yet I couldn't blame him for doing so.

"Why am I here. What do you want from me?" he demanded looking at me with his seething red hot glare. I chuckle darkly mumbling to myself.

"Damn, I guess we'll have to deal with your temper before we get to interrogation."
