The wedding day was nearing. The ceremony was not extravagant like the Crown prince's wedding. It was a little simple but still with a lot of richness. You spent a lot of time with your mother and other family members.

Taehyung understood that and he gave you some space. He changed his plans in return. He decided to stay for a month. Once again the town was getting ready for the celebration. You felt bad for not spending time with him.

"Taehyung, shall we spend time alone like in a boat?" you asked him. "Umm, in a lake?" he asked you. You nodded. It's a small date. He offered to row the canopy himself. It was evening.

"It's nice here", you said. "Yes, it's beautiful", he said. "You know what, I read a poem and it was beautiful", you said. "Really? What is it?" he asked you. "Uhm, it's in Korean. I will try to recite it", you said.

He smiled and nodded. It was good for two lines but you forgot the rest. "Uhm, hehe", you nervously tried to remember. He chuckled. You kept repeating the part. "Maranthutiya? (Did you forget?)" he asked you in Tamil.

"Huh?" "Huh?" he chuckled. "How did you know? I mean when did you learn Tamil?" you asked him. "I am learning right from the day I met you. I know a little, only a very little", he smiled.

You smiled at him. "It's so nice to hear from you", you said. "As you failed in your poem recital, let's forget about that", he chuckled. "I have something for you", he pulled out a box. You got it from him.

You opened to see a shining ring. "Do you like it?" he asked you. "It's beautiful", you complimented. He slid the ring in your finger. He softly held your hand. "No matter what, I will never leave this hand at any cost", he promised.

You happily smiled. Both had a quality time and you returned to the palace. Once again, the jewels and the saree selection phase started. This time he actively participated. Everyone teased you like something.

Usually, the grooms would never participate in these things. "Wow y/n, he is not even leaving you for a moment. Such a lucky girl", one of your cousins commented.

"They both would have at least 10 kids' ', your grandmother chuckled. "Grandma!" you widen your eyes. Taehyung cracked up. He pretended to choose a saree for you. "He can understand whatever you guys are saying.

Don't think that he doesn't know", you said. They were slightly shocked but that didn't stop them from teasing. You were all happily spending your time. Madhi joined in teasing as well. They gave you sweets.

Everytime he tasted something he was like a baby. "What is this?" he asked you  "It's called Payasam. It's a sweet variety. Drink it. It's not just sweet. It also helps in good digestion", you explained.

He seemed to like it and drank well.  Finally, it was over. You made your way to your bedroom. You were tired but happy. It was inexpressible. You didn't think of anything other than getting married to him.

You trusted him blindly. Meanwhile, Madhi was walking around the garden as she didn't feel like sleeping. She saw Aadhi sitting near the lake. "When did you come here? Did you come with my brother?" she asked him.

He greeted her. "We reached here today evening", he replied. He was holding something. "It's hard to let go. Are you still holding the little piece of gift you bought her?" she said, sitting beside him. She sadly smiled.

"I can't let go", he said. "Throw it away. You can. Watch her getting married. You will move on", she said. "Princess, I don't why you are talking about this but-" "Don't worry, I already started to move on from you.

There is no use in this one sided feelings", she replied, casually. "I saw how Taehyung loves her, cherishes her and most importantly holds her. You are nothing like that. I am going to find someone like that", she said.

He chuckled and looked at the lake. "You are right. I need to let go", he threw the hair pin into the lake. Madhi raised her eyebrows but she maintained her cool. "I must have hurt you as well. I am sorry", he said.

"I forgave you, already", she replied. "Why did you like me? What's there to like me so much?" he asked. "I am not answering that. I don't want to remember the past", she said.

"Fine, then I also should find someone who knows what's love and hold their love like y/n", he stood up. "Such a fool", she muttered. He heard that but he smiled and walked away. Two broken hearts got ready to heal each other.

Soon the wedding day approached. It was already early in the morning. The maids dressed you up beautifully. You checked yourself one last time. On the other hand, Taehyung was wearing Tamil Traditional outfit.

He was wearing the ornaments and he was made to sit in the Pooja. He did everything said by the head priest. A lot of mantras and chants were recited. After feeling like an eternity, the priest announced to bring the bride.

You took slow steps towards him. You were surrounded by the bridesmaids. They were giggling and having fun. He fixed his gaze on you. His jaws slightly dropped.

You sat beside him. "You look beautiful", he whispered. You shushed him. After some rituals, the drum beats and other musical instruments hit the sky. He tied a knot with the sacred thread.

You let out a deep breath which you didn't even know that you were holding. You both looked at each other and smiled. He took the vermilion and kept it in the centre of your forehead near the hair roots.

You closed your eyes. A few particles fell on your nose, he cutely blew them away. Everyone adored both of you. The next thing was, they tied your saree end and his dhoti end.

They also tied both of your hands. You have taken three rounds around the small fire pit. He was happily engaging. After prayers and poojas from the temple, you get some time to breathe. They kept engaging you both in fun activities.

"What's this for?" he asked, looking at a small pot of water. "We will put a ring inside this. Whomever takes it out first, will be the winner. Usually, it's a woman's game. Let's see today", Madhi announced.

Both of you let your hands inside, he gave a tough competition in searching. You giggled a lot. Finally, you grasped the ring. "I got it", he announced. "No, it's me", you showed the ring. "I also have one", he gave a mischievous look.

"How?'' Everyone was confused. "Hey, you took my ring from my hand", you whined. Amidst the hand fight underwater, he tactfully removed one of your rings. Once they found the truth they laughed at his adorable nature.

"Usually, these games are for newly wedded people who don't know each other. This couple really doesn't need this", one of them commented. "That's why they are playing around", your grandmother said.

It was time for your first night. The maids and some elderly woman prepared you for the night. You were once again dolled up completely. He was already in your room. He was gazing at the moon.

He turned around when you came in. This night was definitely different. You smiled at him. He eyed from head to toe. He thought that you would hug him instead you attempted to touch his feet but he stopped you.

"What? Why?" he asked. "It's a custom", you said. "I don't want that", he hugged you. You smiled and hugged him back. Both of you looked at the moon. It was shining brightly.

"What do you want then?" you asked. "You", he said. "Huh?!" "I thought that you were all dolled up for that", he winked. "Are you ready?" his mischievous, baby face was already replaced with the mood.
