You were already in his room taking a rest. The people who came along were given a place near the palace. They were getting ready for their new life. They were in charge of your food, clothes and other necessities.
You were resting in his room. He came with a gloomy face. "What happened?" you asked him. He sat beside you. "Y/n, I think I have to bear the crown", he said. "My brother is not really interested in this.
Will that be okay for you?" he asked you. "Who wouldn't want her husband to be the King?" you cupped his face. "That means I can't spend my entire time with you", he pouted.
You giggled. "If you keep spending your time with me, you will lose your interest in me", you chuckled. "It will never happen", he kissed your hand.
"Also, stay here comfortably. If you need anything you can ask me", he said. "I want to meet your family, right?" you said. "Don't worry. Let's rest today. Tomorrow let's meet everyone", he assured. You smiled. The days were passing slowly.
You had a lot of things to admire. You were happily enjoying the new culture and the people. His family was tough but as a royal you were not surprised. They treated you with little extra respect as you brought a treasury with you.
You were getting along with the maids well. Taehyung's brother visited the palace whenever he felt so. Taehyung started to take care of certain affairs as well.
It wouldn't be nice if things were going too well. One day, Taehyung was resting in your lap. He loves to do that all the time. "I am happy that your family accepted us without much struggle", you said.
"True. Honestly, I expected this. What I didn't expect was my brother to give up on the throne", he said. You hummed in response and kept caressing his locks. "Y/n ah", he called you. "Hmm", you hummed again.
"You are happy here, right?" he asked you. "I am so happy. I am more happy here than in my home", you lied a little. You missed them but having Taehyung by your side made you forget it. He sat up.
He kissed your forehead. You smiled. "Tell me if you are uncomfortable about something", he assured. You nodded, smiling at him. A maid knocked on the door. You sighed and moved away from him.
"Your Highness, Princess Yuki is back at the palace. She asks if she can meet you", she said. "Tell her that I will meet her today evening", he replied. He sighed once the maid went out. "Who is Yuki?" you asked.
He never mentioned anything about her. "Uhm, y/n ah she is one of my cousins and a Princess", he said. "Your cousin? Then why didn't you tell me that cousin?" you asked him. "She is not that important or something you know", he nervously laughed.
"Tell me the truth", you sternly said. "It's true, no matter who you are, you have no one in front of your wife", he chuckled and bopped your nose. "That doesn't answer my question, your Highness", you stressed at the end.
"Fine. She is also one of my cousins. She has an eye on me. Now that I am going to be the crown prince, her father would have made a move", he said. "Oh. I see", you replied.
"Hey, but that doesn't going to change anything between us", he assured. You just nodded. He sensed the sadness in your face. "Y/n", he softly held your shoulders. "Be ready in the evening. We should greet them anyway", he said.
"I am not coming", you said. He sighed. He pinned you down on the bed. Your heart thumped fast at the impact. "My jealous wifey, we should meet them together so that I can indirectly insist that you are my everything", he said.
"Whatever", you mumbled. His face was so close to you. He pressed his lips on your lips. Realising that you are still stubborn he lightly bit your lip to open it. Once you have him, he deepened the kiss.
"I love you", he said, placing his forehead on yours. "I know", you giggled. "Hey! That's unfair", he pouted. He peppered your face and neck with kisses.
Both of you had some kiss battles and finally rested in each other's embrace. "You will come, right?" he asked you. You nodded. "Y/n, I have to go now. I should have gone earlier as my father has some work for me.
Come to the garden in the evening directly, if I didn't come here", he said, adjusting his attire. You agreed. "Taehyung '', you got his wrist. "Hmm", he turned his attention towards you. "Nothing", you smiled.
You thought of telling something but you didn't feel like telling anymore. He smiled and hugged you. "I wish I could stay like this but I need to go", he said. "Take care", you sent him. You sat by your study table.
You know that keeping him only for you would lead to no good. But also, your heart was not ready to accept it. As time rolled down, you got ready to meet the Princess.
You put a little extra effort in getting ready. You were still wearing your saree. So you dolled up however you wanted to. As he was caught up with work, he came directly to the garden's meeting place.
It was a pleasant place to have tea during evenings. You joined them. You greeted Princess Yuki and her father. Taehyung introduced you. "She is Princess y/n" "We heard about her that she came with you while you were on your voyage", her father said, while she just stared at you.
"I married her and she came as my wife", he said, slightly pulling you towards his side. "Nice to meet you", she said. "Nice to meet you too", you smiled. Four of you settled while the maids served you tea.
Most of the time, Taehyung and her father were talking about politics and the Kingdom. "Why don't we walk around? They are no fun", she said. "It's fun to me", you sipped the tea.
"What's fun? Politics? For women?" her father sarcastically laughed. "Yes. Is there a problem with that?" you sipped your tea, while Taehyung knew butting in the conversation would do no good.
"You may not know. I am different from the beginning. I don't find interest in chitchat. I have always studied or written poems or managed the public administration in my country", you said. "I see", he cleared his throat.
"That's why, your Prince was interested in me and fell for me", you said, adding fuel to the fire. Taehyung slightly choked. It's not entirely true but also not false.
He admired your intelligence from the beginning and that's one of the reasons he was attracted to you. He laughed internally, hearing your polished answers. "Anyway", they stood up.
"Remember, after the festival you will be given the Crown prince title. And soon you will be King as your father wants to step down quickly", he said. "I will keep it in mind. Both of you should enjoy the festival", he said to them.
They bid farewell. She didn't show any emotions about him being married to you. You were a bit confused by this. Still, you shrugged off. "Why are you doing this?" Taehyung chuckled. "What?" you raised your eyebrows.
"You were so cute but I feel something is strange with their behaviour", he said. "I feel the same", you replied. "Yuki, how are you so calm? He literally married a woman", her father questioned her.
"Father, don't you know that if he is going to be the King he should get everyone's support for the throne besides who will accept a foreign woman as a Queen", she chuckled.
"I don't care if she is married to him or not. Still, they are unmarried according to Korean culture. So, there is no problem in getting me married to him. Just make sure that I would be the Queen. I will take care of my life", she said.
