Owlswoop leapt, sinking her claws into the back of a chipmunk before bending down to snap it's spine. "Good catch!" Runningthorn called.

"Thanks," she replied, shaking her pelt free of any leaves that wandered onto her pelt. She covered her catch in leaves before continuing on. Quailfeather stuck his tail in the air. Owlswoop froze in her tracks noticing the blackbird the pecked on the stump. She watched as he lower himself and stalk it. He leapt knocking it down, sinking his fangs into it swiftly.

"This is good hunting, only if it would stay throughout leaf-bare," Runningthorn shook out his pelt a vole clamped in between his jaws. Owlswoop nodded in agreement. "I'm ready to head back, I think we caught plenty," Runningthorn mewed. The patrol agreed, collecting their prey before heading back to camp.

Owlswoop dropped her Chipmunk, wren and two mice into the fresh-kill pile. She licked the juice off her muzzle, she flicked her ears as she spotted Berrypool heading towards her. "You're finally back!" He purred, nuzzling her cheek. She felt her pelt go hot as she noticed Lizardcry and Mudsong glancing at them before whispering to each other. "I've been looking to speak with you actually." Berrypool gazed at his paws, shuffling them.

"Of course, whats up?" Owlswoop purred.

"Outside of camp," he urged. She gazed up at him, nodding. They followed each other outside. "I've been wanting to say this for awhile, but didn't know how," he mewed, gazing at his paws, "I really enjoy spending time with you, and I care for you a lot." He gazed at her softly.

"I care for you as well," Owlswoop replied, snuggling up close to him.

"I want to be more than friends," Berrypool blurted. Owlswoop felt her heart flutter, as she gasped. She gazed up at him, noticing he was being serious, "if you'd want, I'd like to take you as my mate."

"Oh Berrypool," she sighed, "I've been waiting for this." She licked his cheek, "of course I'd be your mate." Berrypool's eyes shined with excitement, as he touched her nose with his. Owlswoop shoved her face into his pelt, breathing in his scent. "I love you," she purred, intertwining her tail with his.

"I love you more," he replied. A rustle in the undergrowth made Owlswoop jump up, unsheathing her claws. She spread her jaws, her pelt settling.

"Schwoz?" She hissed, "you scared the daylight out of me!" The small tom popped his head out of the holly bush.

"Ray wants to speak with you two," Schwoz whispered. Owlswoop sighed.

"Fine, lead us," Berrypool mewed. Schwoz nodded, turning and diving into the bush, he lead us to a clearing. Ray sat on a stump, with Waspflight pacing back and forth. Wolfcry just sat quietly, blinking. "Whats going on Ray?" Berrypool asked.

"A familiar scent was discovered by the two-leg nest, I uncovered a mossball and paw prints."

"What was it from?" Waspflight asked.

"The Toddler." Owlswoop gasped. "With everything dieing, there is no way for Catmintlight to heal you if any of you get hurt, and we can't risk you exposing you powers."

"Well with death, comes life," Wolfcry purred. Owlswoop narrowed her eyes. The she-cat got to her paws. "I'm having kits!" Owlswoops eyes widened, she just noticed the she-cats belly was rounder, and she seemed tired.

"So soon near leaf-bare?" Waspflight questioned, "does Runningthorn know?"

Wolfcry nodded, "I told him last night, he's thrilled."

"Yes, it's cool, kits, however The Toddler is roaming around this forest, keep your eyes and ears open." Owlswoop dipped her head. "Now get out of here." She got to her paws, she wanted to question Wolfcry more, but Waspflight had already taken over. I suppose these kits will be his kin. She thought, and dived into the undergrowth, trotting through the entrance. Sagecreeks and Rosesuns kits tumbled around just enjoying life. Catmintlight sat outside her den, washing her fragile frame. Owlswoop trotted over to where Barknut stood.

"Hello Owlswoop, are you looking to go on patrol?" He asked.

"I suppose, I have nothing better to do," she replied, meeting the deputies gaze.

"Hmph, you can lead a patrol along the Thunderclan border if you want." Owlswoop's eyes widened. Me? Lead a patrol! Before she said anything. "Take Fernpath, Minktoes and Harepaw."

"Alright then," she dipped her head, turning. She gazed around to find Fernpath talking to Widowweb. She made her way over to her. "Hey Fernpath, Barknut wants me to lead a patrol, have you seen Minktoes?" Fernpath got to her paws.

As she was about to speak Minktoes emerged through Tansystar's den. "Minktoes, you and I were chosen for patrol!"

"Alright, Harepaw lets go!" The brown apprentice looked up, and cantered over. Fernpath stretched letting out a wide yawn.

"Lets get this over with," she mewed. Owlswoop nodded in agreement, she turned around, padding over to the entrance. She heald her breath until she heard the pawsteps of her clanmates behind her. She slipped out of the thorn barrier, and deeper into the territory. She breathed in the pine scent of her home, feeling the needles under her paws. She flicked her ears towards the sound of the stream. She scented the air. "Stale, they must've not of patrolled his area yet." Fernpath noted. Minktoes scented a hazel bush. She scented something strange, something fresh out of the nursery.

"Well, well, well," A short brown and white tom popped out from the undergrowth, followed by two toms "what do we have here?" The Toddler! He didn't take long to get up in Owlswoops face. "Hello there Volt, who are your friends?" She let out a fierce hiss.

"Get out of here," she snarled, "your not welcome!" Minktoes stepped beside Owlswoop.

"Owlswoop who are these guys, and who's Volt?" Fernpath whispered.

"I'll explain later, just prepare for a fight," she snapped, unsheathing her claws, "Toddler, you have a few heartbeats to either leave, or be forcefully removed from Shadowclan territory!"

"I think I will just make this hangout," Toddler ignored her threats.

"Shadowclan attack!" The warriors launched themselves at The Toddlers goons. Owlswoop faced the tom. She felt red electricity static from her paws. She leapt at his side, tearing her claws down his side. The Toddler yowled, he spun sinking his fangs into her shoulder. She used her hind paws, the spring up kicking him off her, feeling her shoulder sting. She launched herself, feeling her powers overcome her, once she touched his pelt, she zapped him.

The Toddler let out a cry. "Retreat!" He whined, "mommy!" He bolted across the stream, and into Thunderclans territory, his goons followed.

"What in the name of Starclan was that?!" Fernpath demanded.

"Some enemies from when I was a rouge, and a name he knew me by was Volt," Owlswoop explained, sure she stretched the truth a little, but they can't know the full truth. She gazed at the clan cats, Minktoes had a nasty gash on his hind leg. "We should head back to camp so you can get that looked at," she mewed, wanting to avoid any questions.

By the time the patrol returned, they were swarmed. "What happened to you?" Doestep asked, sniffing a wound on Fernpath's shoulder.

"We were attacked by a small band of rouges, nothing serious, we managed to chase them off," Owlswoop answered. Barknut stepped up, eyes narrowed.

"Rustlefang I want you to lead a patrol with Ray and Dustyclouds to make sure they have really gone."

"And I want all of you to have your wounds looked at," Tansystar added on. Owlswoop sat still, as Windears applied a poultice to her wounds.

"You should be fine to return to light warrior duties, but I would prefer you rest," she told her, cleaning up.

"Alright," Owlswoop flicked her tail, sniffing her shoulder. Before any cat could question her, she slipped into the warriors den, curling up in her nest.
