"Pebblefall! Mothflutter!" The clan cheered, the two she-cats puffed out their chests. Owlswoop padded up to them.

"Congratulations!" She purred.

"I couldn't do it without you," Pebblefall nuzzled her former mentors shoulder. Owlswoop sighed, her paws feeling heavy. She blinked sleep out of her eyes, as she yawned. She congratulated them again, before she was surrounded by kin. She shuffled over to the fresh-kill pile. She caught a glimpse of Catmintlight staring at her intently through narrowed eyes.

"Are you alright?" She asked the former medicine cat. Catmintlight's eyes softened.

"Yes, I just haven't told you congratulations yet!" The old she-cat purred. Her ears flicked.

"Thanks?" She replied. Possibly she was talking about Pebblefalls ceremony? She shrugged it off, grabbing a magpie, eating it swiftly. She heard pawsteps approaching her, she gazed up to notice Windears.

"Sorry about Catmintlight, but may I see you in my den?" She asked.

"I suppose," Owlswoop shrugged. She followed the young she-cat into her den.

"How have you been feeling recently?" She started, she got closer gazing the she-cat up and down.

"Actually tired, and more hungry." Windears took note of what she said.

"Well mine and apparently Camintlight's suspicions were right," Windears muttered, "congratulations, your having kits!" Owlswoop felt her heart pause, and her eyes widened. She gazed at her side, which did look more swelled. "Now I don't recommend you spend to long out of the nursery, you have about a quarter moon left before kitting."

"Alright, thank you," Owlswoop stuttered, she stepped out of the medicine den. She gazed around camp, and noticed Berrypool approaching her.

"Hey, Catmintlight just congratulated me on being a father," he started, "why?"

"About that, I was just uh looking for you," she gazed at her paws, "I'm having kits." Berrypool gasped. "They'll be arriving in about a quarter moon."

"Really?" He asked, "where from?" Owlswoop gazed up at him, nuzzling his cheek.

"Not important, all I know is I'm exhausted, nest here I come!"

...

Owlswoop laid on her side, her eyes closed, listening to the sounds of the nursery. Wrenpools kits tumbled around, laughing, and teasing eachother. Fernpath shuffled quietly in her sleep. Moving in not to long after Owlswoop did with Widowwebs kits. A sudden ripple of pain, caused her eyes to shoot open. Wrenpool gazed up from washing Flamekit to gaze at her. "Owlswoop, are you alright?"

"I'm not sure," she sat up, gazing at her enlarged belly, "it was like a sudden pain, like someone clawing my insides." Wrenpool gasped.

"I will be back, kits how about you go here stories from the elders," she mewed.

"Why?"

"The adults need time." With that the calico disappeared, her tail trailing behind her. She bit back a yelp as the feeling came back. It didn't take long for the entrance to rustle. Windears came in, Wrenpool close behind.

"Stay out Berrypool, you can come in when the kits have arrived." She noticed the tom glancing around the medicine cats, before Wrenpool nudged him out. She laid her head down, clenching her jaws.

"These kits are coming for sure," Windears told them. She felt Fernpath lap at her head fur, and she took a few large breaths. Windears sat at her other end, while the other queens stayed by her head.

"Take this stick to bite," Wrenpool told her.

"I think the first one is coming." Owlswoop felt the sharp pain, and she pushed like Windears instructed her to. She stretched out her neck, until the pressure on her calmed temporarily. She heard mews, and Wrenpool jumped forward bring a small black bundle.

"There's another coming!" It didn't take long for two more kits to arrive.

"Two toms and a she-kit!" Windears announced. Owlswoop panted as she watched three small things placed by her belly. One was black as night, with a white muzzle that turned into his belly. The other was a gray and white. Then the other was a molted brown. She curled her tail protectively over her kits, bending down to wash them.

It was a few heartbeats later before Berrypool slid into the nursery. "Wow like magic!" He gasped, gazing at his kits, "they really are perfect." He nuzzled Owlswoops head.

"Aren't they?" She purred, allowing her mate to curl up next to her, to watch them. Windears placed some leaves in front of them.

"Here, borage will help with your milk supply," she purred, "congratulations."

"Thank you so much Windears," Owlswoop mewed.

"You did all the work, I just made sure things went smoothly," Windears replied, "but it was no struggle." She dipped her head, before leaving them.

"Now names," Owlswoop muttered.

"What about Mosskit for the she-kit?" Berrypool suggested.

"I like that," she purred, "and for the toms Nutkit and Shadedkit?"

"They're perfect!" Berrypool exclaimed.

"Shadedkit, Mosskit, and Nutkit!" Fernpath echoed, "the new members of Shadowclan!"

One by one, the clan came to meet the newborn kits. Eventually Lizardcry and Tansystar stepped into the nursery. "Look it Tansystar, our Grandkits!" Lizardcry purred, gazing down at them.

"They're beautiful you two," Tansystar nuzzled his daughters head, "congratulations."

"Do that have names?" Lizardcry asked. Owlswoop nodded, and pointed to the black kit.

"He's Shadedkit," Owlswoop then pointed to her daughter, "thats Mosskit, and then the molted brown one is Nutkit."

"Wonderful names, for wonderful kits."

Tansystar placed his muzzle on each of the kits. "Welcome to Shadowclan young ones."
