"We are so dead when we're caught, Wolfpaw!"
"Us dead? More like Wolfpaw and one of her dangerous ideas again."
Deep within the silent forest, full of tall trees towering over everything, and echoed argument came from two young cats. One a worried messy red tabby furred tom and the other a sleek light tabby she-cat that looked to have had enough of any nonsense.
"Don't say that Honeypaw, we'll both still get in trouble if we allow Wolfpaw to do this--"
"Jeez, I sure do feel the love over here." From above the two cats up within the towering trees laid upon another she-cat, rather small of her age but full of enthusiasm and hope. "You two didn't have to come along if all you were going to do was banter throughout this whole session." She finished with an irritated huff of air, her long gray tabby fur puffing along with her comment towards the two.
"Why would we do that Wolfpaw?" The red tabby rang up, his worried glance still apparent on his face, "We wouldn't want to see you get yourself hurt due to one of your little ideas--"
"Please," Honeypaw cut the tom off with a snarky grin, "'Little ideas', more like death wishes. Wolfpaw if you do somehow pull this little stunt off then I'll do whatever you want me to do." The red tabby nudged Honeypaw's shoulder, giving her a grimace look as his messy fur raised after the she-cat's little comment.
"P-Pay no mind to Honeypaw, we both want to see you safe and to not go ahead and pull this through--"
"Okay, I'm gonna do it!" Wolfpaw's booming voice startled the red tabby creating the tom's jaw to drop in shock, Honeypaw holding in her giggle once seeing the tom's reaction.
"N-No d-do not do it, you'll get yourself hurt, yo-you don't even know if it'll work or not!"
"I won't know unless I try Bristlepaw, even you should know that!"
"Yes, I do... BUT NOT WHEN IT LITERALLY COMES TO FALLING OFF THE TRAINING TREE JUST TO SEE IF YOU'LL FLY OR NOT!!" Bristlepaw's holler almost surprised the two she-cat's Honeypaw especially, however, it quickly flew by Wolfpaw's ears immediately afterward as she took one deep breath, her claws digging into the branch keeping her landing. Her determined amber eyes shined with a strong fire as she took one last glance towards her friends, who were the size of ants from where she was standing.I gotta try anyway, I won't know unless I actually do it. I want to be special, just like you guys...
Without backing out, she shakily took one paw out she leans her body away from the tree branch, allowing gravity to finish the job.
"WOLFPAW!"
"OH FOXDUNG, SHE ACTUALLY DID IT!"
The two could only stand in horror, Bristlepaw especially, as they watched their gray tabby friend start to fall at an exceeding amount of speed.
"I can't watch, I don't want to hear the aftermath," Bristlepaw said as he covered his face with his paws. Honeypaw keeping one eye open she prepared herself to look away once her friend reached the ground.
Wolfpaw could barely keep her eyes open as the wind passing through her body was almost unbearable she couldn't even breathe. It felt like time was at an all-time slow, her mind kept racing like it was nothing.
Why isn't anything happening
Shouldn't I be doing something right now?
This can't be right, I thought this was gonna work, for sure
AM I GONNA DIE!!
As tears began to appear and burn her eyes the last thing she met didn't seem to be the ground surprisingly. But a blur of white. A rather soft, crushingly, white cloud?
