Narration:

Every story has its twists and turns
A plot to be unfolded
And A lesson to be learned

Expect the unexpected
But don't forget the theme

Every character must play their part and
This one haunts your dreams

Krumpus kidnaps
He preys on all of your fears
So you better watch out
— because He wants you to
Get away from here!

Scene 1:
Befana and Myrrh

Befana: Come in. Come in.
I've been waiting for you.

Henry: You have?
Befana: I have.
Henry: What's this?
Befana: Get away from there!
Don't touch anything.
That crystal is from The Middle Ages.

Henry: What does it do?
Befana: You wouldn't comprehend.
Emily: Don't mind her, Henry. She just looks really old.
Henry: Emily, I want to learn. (To Befana) La Befana, Can you see into the future?

Befana: Emily?!
That's your name now?
So modern. (Rolls eyes)
My dear. Absolutely yes!
I already see your doom!

Henry: Excuse me?

Befana: Tell me, what has brought you here?
Ah, Ah, but now — don't tell me!
I know exactly why you came here.
Henry: You do?
Befana: (Smells the air) I can smell it in the air!
It's fear. Emily, I thought I taught you all about that.

Emily: Don't give me another lecture.
We have a demon on the loose!

Befana: Sounds like a typical day at Heritage park to me!

Emily: I'm running out of time. This is not a time for jokes. Hurry up.
Just give me what I need or I'm going to tell my Uncle!
Befana: (Annoyed) Ugh, fine. What would it be?
Emily: Frankincense, mistletoe and myrrh.
Befana: (Shocked) Myrrh? Myrrh? (Laughs) I don't have myrrh.
Emily: Yes, you do.
Befana: (Funny) Limited supplies. (Waves wand)
It's very rare! Smyrna. Only for family.
Emily: Aunt Befana! This is no joking matter!

Befana: Fine, fine...Myrrh that I can give you ... but you're going to need something more that I cannot provide—
Emily: Must you speak in riddles?
Befana: Child, don't you know better? It's part of the magic!
To overcome this, you're going to search from within.
You're going to need courage.

Scene 2:
Hospital scene

Stacie: Cindy, I have to tell you something.
Cindy: It's about Marlene, isn't it?

Stacie: Yes.
Yeah. Sit down. I'm afraid that I have some bad news.

Cindy: Is she okay?
Don't tell me she is trying to stab me in my back again.

Stacie: Her husband Frank. Well, I am so sad to say that he has passed away.

Cindy: Today? (Pauses)
OMG, OMG OMG!
You've got to be kidding me!
Oh no! Frank?
I'm such a horrible friend!

Stacie: You're not a bad friend, Cindy.
You just didn't know.
And yes, it happened today.
He didn't make it.

Cindy: I feel so stupid now.
You didn't tell her I gave you her number, did you?
