The insolent smiles and the patent cries,

No matter however much she tries;

The agone comes to live as it may,

And She didn't know what there lay. (By me)

People say "Time heals all wounds."People lie. :')

She could feel the blood rushing from her vena cava towards the extremities of her dermis, ruthlessly boiling her soul.

The pictures burnt inside the core of her heart, and her lips quivered even to her slightest movement.

She kept staring at the mirror, smiling sadly at her grief-striken face and mocking her fate.

All the sarcasm buried deep inside the deepest corners, she stood there rooted, while the intricate memories quenched her soul and wrenched her being apart.

Baffled at the happenings, she stared into empty space, trying to grasp in the happenings.

Why was she getting so much moved by an

unknown man?

Wait.

Those eyes were anything but unknown. But that man was.

She silently cursed the Omnipotent for mapping her life through all the hurdles anyone could possibly chalk out.

While she had almost begun to think that she wasn't weak anymore, here came a turn baffling her might and taking her to the same crossword, where she was a year back, devastated.

She vengefully wondered how just a pair of eyes could trigger such memories back in her.

The water gushing out of the tap, was quite

analogous to the past pouring out in her soul from all indefinite pores.

The vigorous lacrimal gland was contracting, threatening to let go off the relentless fluid.

And then the barrage broke.

She broke down on her knees, howling, while the water kept in flowing, quite oblivious of her merciful condition.

She let the tears fall after a year of silence.

Sanyukta Agarwal was broken, beyond repair.

Randhir was flabbergasted.

Flabbergasted at his own conscience, at his own involvement and most at her reaction, Randhir couldn't but gape at her retreating figure.

He couldn't swallow in the fact that this girl

seemed visibly alarmed at his mere presence.

Life was funny.

While all these years, he had been scurrying away from all hormonal classmates of his, there's this girl, who gets immensely disturbed by him all of a

sudden.

Ironically, this was the one girl he had

started falling for.

The thought marred him a great deal, before he could sigh and look away.

Gasping at the turn of events, he took over the Champaigne shots, to release his mind of such unwanted stress.

"That's Sanyukta Agarwal."

Parth's sarcastic tone broke his trance, and he looked back to gape at his pal.

"Err.. What?", Randhir fumbled, quite out of senses, not 'cause of the alcohol, but because of the dizziness her eyes had left on his mind.

"Alcohol does destroy your senses.", Parth stifled a giggle while Randhir just rolled his eyes.

"The woman you were losing at.", Parth winked, taking Randhir by surprise.

Baffled for a moment, Randhir gathered his

senses soon enough.

"How-How do you know?", Randhir asked,

grumpily.

"That isn't the point. The point is, How come you don't know?", Parth smirked, oozing out malice in each word.

"What?", Randhir stammered, quite overcome by the effect of the alcohol, her presence had exuded. ;)

"Google her out.", Parth quipped back.

"Just remember. She's a woman of sinful

commitments.", Parth left him, fleering

nonchalantly.

"She's the most naive soul, I've ever seen.",

Randhir gulped down another shot, sighing

wistfully.

***************************************

As the tear drenched her attire, she could gauge the return of the old Sanyu, and that alarmed her to no extent.

She had stopped howling on her knees way back and there was no way why she would let the twinge rip her soul again.

Wiping off the pearls, she smirked with

mockpride, vexed at the turn of events.

She would in no way let an unknown tread in her mind, and she knew very well how to curb the gruelling storm in her heart.

"Flavour of The Week.", she smirked maliciously, dropping hints at every smirk.

Sanyukta Agarwal was broken, but not yet
defeated. :')

Until Next Time.
