The night wasn't worth bearing.

The charm that it had offered, went down the drains.

The dawn which was supposed to engrave itself in broken letters, buried its dead.

The night was no long a beautiful affair.

Randhir lumbered out of her spacious apartment, with dizzy steps.

He wasn't under the effect of alcohol yet, but the twinge bore a hole in his heart, paining beyond repair.

The vivacious Randhir was now a past.

He could see slideshows of his entire life fleeing within his iris.

He couldn't even retrieve the happy moments as his vision blurred under the agony of his realisation.

A broken Randhir, didn't even proceed to look left and right.

A disheartened Randhir didn't even focus on the mishaps, but hobbled onto the

most immediate, but hazardous conclusion that blurred his mind.

Sanyukta was cheating on him; on the man, she was married to , and above all her own chastity.

She was deceiving their nascent bond and his naivete.

Mentally cursing himself for investing his trust on her, Randhir kicked off the empty can lying infront.

He sauntered aimlessly, through the plagued lanes of Southern Delhi, mourning over his unused wisdom, and a haunted destiny.

"Agarwal, I loathe you.", His eyes watered

efficiently, as the words struggled out of his lips.

For the first time ever, Randhir didn't mean

what he said.

His soul was in doldrums.

*************************************

Speeding her car through the alleyways, her heart thumped in unpredictable excitement and euphory.

She was rocking at the very thought of feeding him the cake, and feasting over his

beguiling smile.

He was someone, who could cast a menacing spell on anyone, even without exposing a bit of his gleaming torso.

The belief that his orbs flaunted were just enough. And she had just rediscovered the zeal to live in those eyes. ♡

Galloping up till the apartment, she was baffled.

Instead of catching a shirtless Randhir grooving on the couch, she found a lifeless apartment, rather a Randhirless life.

Her innate conscience bore deep and constantly urged her of an inevitable peril, rocking the insides.

She walked over to the kitchen, only to see the cake, untouched, probably waiting for the nocturnal insects.

Disheartened, she walked all across the

apartment, hoping against hope to find a

charismatic Randhir leaning at the balcony, or a beckoning Randhir swaying in the bath-tub.

But, Randhir was nowhere to be found.

And her heart squeezed shut, not being able enough to capture some other pain.

The specific drawer caught her eye, and so did Randhir's lumia.

She picked it up, and happy tears jumped out, when she saw his wallpaper - A

Smiling Her. ♡

But then what grabbed her eyes, left her

astounded.

Her picture in that golden-shimmered

bridal attire caught her glaring at it.

Moving upto it, she collapsed on the floor,

clutching it within her fists, as unbearable

memories started crashing in through the pores of the past.

Had Randhir misunderstood her?

Did he leave her?

And the queries couldn't even gain ground, when she heard the door-bell.     :')

**************************************

Sanyukta was exactly how Parth had described her.

A woman who juggled with emotions, defined her.

Randhir sat by the rippling waves, witnessing his soul getting crumpled, again.

His eyes blinked on their own and with every blink, fresh tears seeped out.

Sanyukta was answerable and Randhir would never deny answers.

Randhir was going to get a well-skilled

explanation out of her mouth, and he was dead determined.

Grumbling at himself, he made his way back to her apartment, and knocked on the doorbell, waiting for the peril to strike.

Until Next Time.
Signing off,
Aishi ♡☆

A/N: The next chapter is going to be the biggest I have ever written, and my best work too. It is a very intense chapter, where they'll graduate their relationship to some other level. I have tried to portray emotions as beautifully as possible. Stay tuned for the most passionate chapter of "Saints and Sinners". Coming tomorrow. :*
