JOO HYUK'S POV

Right now, I am excited and nervous!

Of course, I'm excited to meet Suzy's Mom, but I'm nervous of what she'll think about me.

Inhale.

Exhale.

I composed myself before pressing the doorbell. I waited for few seconds until Suzy opened the door for me.

"Good evening, baby. I mean, Suzy."

I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Come in, Mr. Nam Joo Hyuk."

My eyes roamed their house. It's just a simple home, enough for two. The walls are painted plain white with few frames hanged. One frame caught my attention.

I almost dropped my phone when Suzy's Mom caught me taking pictures of Suzy's childhood framed photos

I almost dropped my phone when Suzy's Mom caught me taking pictures of Suzy's childhood framed photos.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Bae, I just can't help it. She's so cute."

She gave me a smile which resembles Suzy's.

"You're so honest, I like it. And don't worry I'll show you more pictures later after our dinner. For now, follow me in the kitchen."

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Just call me Tita."

I nodded and followed her.

She prepared so much food for the three of us and it all smells so good. Suddenly, I felt so hungry.

"All of this looks and smells delicious, Tita!"

"Enough with the kind words, Joo Hyuk. Let's pray and eat."

I remembered my grandma, she used to pray before eating when she was still alive. I missed her so much.

"Is there anything wrong, Joo Hyuk?"

"No, I just remembered Lola."

"You must be close to her?"

"Yes, she took care of me when I was young every time my parents were out of town for their business."

The dinner is full of questions and answers. Suzy's Mom asked me more about my family and my hobbies and how I met Suzy.

SUZY'S POV

I can't believe Joo Hyuk told Mommy that he thinks we're fated to meet.

I think Mom likes him.

"Ah! I'm so full! Thank you so much, Tita! Everything is delicious."

He sure knows how to please my Mom.

"You can come again, anytime."

"Mommy!" I complained.

"Why? He's such a nice friend of yours. I would love to have more meals with him."
