Baby, don't tell me you're going to sleep on that couch?"
Joo Hyuk asked when he noticed Suzy covering the couch with the spare blanket.
"Yes, I'd fit in here perfectly."
"And you think I will let you sleep there?"
"It's just one night. I'll be fine."
Joo Hyuk moved a little to the left side of the hospital bed and tapped the new space he made on the right side.
"You can sleep beside me."
Suzy blinked twice as she try to comprehend Joo Hyuk's offer.
She felt a sudden rush of heat on her face.
Joo Hyuk's ears turned red when he realized what he's offering to her.
They've been in a relationship for almost four months now. Sure they already shared some hugs, cuddles and kisses, but sleeping on the same bed is another story.
"I mean... we... uhm... we will just sleep. I don't want you to be... uncomfortable in that couch." He stuttered.
Suzy did not answer, frozen to where she's standing.
"Alright, I will sleep on the couch instead and you will sleep here." Joo Hyuk sat on the edge of the bed.
"No, you should rest well. I'll be fine. I told your parents that I will take care of you. Please, don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Okay?"
Joo Hyuk nodded, but he feels bad that she has to sleep on a couch. He is now regretting his decision of getting a simple private room instead of a VIP room.
Suzy positioned herself on the couch, facing Joo Hyuk.
Joo Hyuk smiled at her and she smiled back.
With just looking at each other's eyes, they know that what they have, is love.
