"So, wanna go for a date baby?" Taehyung asks the younger male, holding his hand tightly, having no desire to let him go.

Jungkook thought for a moment, looking up the sky while Taehyung keenly stared at him, just in awe. There wasn't any particular place Jungkook had in mind at first but then he suddenly remembered the café from his dream. As if that wasn't enough coincidence, he also finds himself craving for some caramel macchiato.

"How about some café? It's also pretty early, I haven't even had breakfast yet."

"Sure baby, as you wish."

If someone asks Taehyung right now what is the best feeling in the world, he would answer having Jungkook sitting next to him inside the car right now, with their hands locked together. Keeping his eyes on the road while driving, he keeps stealing glances at the younger who's currently sitting beside him, singing along to the song playing on the radio —You make Me by Day6—keeping his gaze ahead of him.

Taehyung grins, adoring Jungkook's angelic voice and how he sings every note perfectly. It's been a while since he last heard him sing so he couldn't avoid feeling butterflies in his stomach. As the younger kept singing, Taehyung can feel Jungkook holding his hand tighter; He's so absorbed into the song.

Either by coincidence or on purpose, the lyrics perfectly describes what Taehyung was feeling at the moment. Jungkook was his last ray of hope, the one and only shining light that gave him a reason not to give up during when he was at his darkest times. It had been hard for him, living alone inside their house, having no one to talk to and express his heart out. He was glad that he have friends who was there for him but it was different when Jungkook was there. The house only felt like home when Jungkook is with him.

"You make me." Taehyung sings along, glancing at Jungkook who was also looking at him, surprised upon hearing his partner's vocals. Taehyung laughs, returning his gaze back on the road.

"I never thought you could sing so well Tae." Jungkook says, completely stunned. He's amazed at how Taehyung could effortlessly hit the song's high notes despite having a deep and raspy voice. It was a complete shock to him.

"The more you know." Tae responds with a smirk, wiggling his eyebrows at the younger.

Jungkook laughs at the familiar meme reference, nudging Taehyung's arms afterwards. "We should get to know each other more Tae. It feels like I haven't seen you in years."

"Well, I felt like I haven't talked to you for an eternity. "

"Must have been hard huh? Sorry Tae-tae~" Jungkook says in an slightly higher-pitch voice, pouting at him; his puppy-like eyes gleaming with affection and sincerity towards his lover. He was doing aegyo on purpose and he knows too well Taehyung wouldn't be able to resist his charms.

"You're so cute you know that?"

"I know Tae."

After couple more songs playing in the background accompanied by small chitchats between the couple, it wasn't long before they spotted an open café by the road. It took Taehyung several minutes to find a parking spot and after making sure everything was good, the two hopped out of the vehicle and proceeded to the café.
