Taehyung wasn't sure if he missed school or not. It was already sunset when he arrived and there were only few students left roaming around campus grounds. He's only been missing out a little, maybe short on some activities and projects but he's sure skipping for a week won't hurt his rankings, or so he thought.
Stepping out of the car, he proceeded to the entrance and made his way to Mrs. Wang's office.

As he stood in front of her office, he softly knocked on the wooden door before calling out, "Mrs. Wang? It's me, Kim Taehyung. May I come in?"

Several seconds later, someone from the inside answered, "Yes, come inside."

Taehyung slowly turned the knob and opened the door, making a loud creaking sound which is something you often hear from horror movies. He got himself in, closing the door behind him before he walked to the couch in front if Mrs. Wang's desk.

"Hey Ma'am. Long time no see?" Taehyung says, trying to uplift the mood, lessening the awkwardness.

"Take a seat dear." And so Taehyung did. He thought he should just stay quiet.

Mrs. Wang was busy sorting out some papers, which Taehyung could quess were examination papers but he wouldn't dare ask her about it. Taehyung fiddled with his fingers to keep himself busy as he glanced around the room, trying to find something that may interest him.

"How's Jungkook?" Mrs. Wang said out of nowhere, which caught Taehyung off guard.

"What?"

Mrs. Wang finally raised her head and gazed at Taehyung. Eyeing him as if she knew he heard him at the first time. "How's Jungkook?"

"Oh, uhmm, he's well? Still hasn't woken up yet but he's fine."

Mrs. Wang sighed and stacked all the papers to the side, making a thick pile, almost the length of a ruler. She took off her glasses, wearing it above her head before she closed her hands together on the table.

"You sure are taking care of him well aren't you?"

"Yes, I am." Taehyung answered, confused to where the conversation was going.

"Would you rather take care of him than your exams?"

Taehyung pressed his lips together, deciding to stay silent. In fact, he would actually prefer that.

"Look Taehyung," Mrs. Wang intones, her voice turning into a gentle tone, "I know how much you care about Jungkook but you couldn't neglect your studies just like that. I know he's someone important to you but do you really think he'll want you being like this? I'm not saying you should leave him alone rather, I want you to consider your studies as well. You're a smart kid Taehyung and I don't want to lose another one among my top students okay?"

Taehyung could only nod in agreement because he knows she was right about everything. He couldn't find a reasonable argument to counter her.

"Here, I will give you another chance to redeem yourself and redeem your grades. Examinations are coming already so you better start studying as well." Mrs. Wang took something out of her drawers and handed it to Taehyung. It was a brown envelope.

"So that means I have to go back to school?" Taehyung asks, examining the envelope and its contents. There were bunch of paperworks here, looking like some sort of activities and such.

"No, I'm not asking you to do that. I'm only asking you to try and consider going to school again. Anyway, as long as you pass all of the requirements to your teachers, you're good to go."

Taehyung's eyes went wide. "W-Wait, so does that mean I could do these works at home then just pass it?"

"Yep. I am helping you because I don't want to lose one of my top students. I know your potential Taehyung and I don't want you to waste it okay?"
