Valerie woke up the next morning with a headache of a lifetime, she sat up and looked around her quiet dorm to find no sign of anyone present, the girl then turns to her side and grabs her glass of water taking a drink before lying back down deciding to skip today.
MEANWHILE
Fred walks down the steps to the common room to see a lonely Hermione granger sitting on the couch
"Where the little lady herself today" Fred says sitting down next to the girl
"How would I know she doesn't want to talk to me anymore" Hermione says trying to keep the tears forming in her eyes at bay
"What are you talking about mione you and Valerie are basically inseparable,did yous have a fight or something" Fred asks sharing the same confused look as Hermione.
"No we didn't, Val came back from detention and said to me that it was a mistake us becoming friends and it should never have happened" Hermione says feeling the tears slowly fall down her cheeks as Fred gives her a comforting look.
"Hey, hey it's okay she'll come around don't worry about it, I'll fix her up" Fred said giving the crying girl a smile and standing up to head up to Valeries dorm.
Fred walks up to the door of the dorm knocking on the door.
"Hey Val it's Fred could you open the door"
He says leaning his ear against the door trying to listen to the now awake girl little protests
"Go away I don't want to talk" the girl mumbles hoping that would make the boy go away.
Fred smirks thinking about what he's about to say to the girl
"Oh well I guess I'll need to eat all these chocolate frogs by myself" the boys says chuckling to himself as he hears the girls footsteps Come to the door as he steps back when she opens it.
"What dragged you through the forbidden forest" he says earning a light punch from the girl who was sitting in her bed pulling the
covers over her
"What is it you want Freddy the girl says looking at the boy who was sitting at the edge of her bed
" well I found a very upset Hermione granger in the common room earlier any idea what that's about" they boy asks the girl giving her a questioning look.
The girl froze on the spot when she heard him ask that she still couldn't come to terms that she had done that to the girl but she knew it needed to be done, she didn't deserve Hermione, she knows she deserves someone better than me the girl thinks to herself trying to come up with an answer for the boy
" I dont know what your talking about" the girl mumbles looking down and toying with her hands not making eye contact with the boy
" oh really you don't, well I'm gonna guess it was something that happened during detention but I won't push for an answer if u aren't comfortable with that okay" the boy says pushing the chocolate frog closer to the girl.
Valerie lifts her head and smiles at the boy sitting the chocolate frog on her bedside table and deciding to get clothes out to go down for breakfast
"Atta girl now you go and get ready I'll be outside waiting and remember the first task is today so you can help me and George with the bets if you want okay" Fred says as he walks out and shuts the door.
Valerie walks over to her dresser and pulls out a burgundy jumper with black jeans and a belt to go with and goes to the bathroom to get ready.
5 MINUTES LATER
The girl walks out the bath room finishing putting her hair up in a ponytail and opening the dorm door seeing Fred standing waiting and they both head down to breakfast ready to face everyone
