Everything had been going well for Valerie and Hermione they had been hanging out more than ever, since they sorted things.
It was the night before the second trial and Hermione and Valerie were in the library reading.
"Mione please do we need to keep studying"
"Yes Val we do you need to pass this herbology test"
"Ugh, the class is so boring mione" you say to the girl before you see professor mcgonagall walking into the library
" mrs granger may I see you in my office"
"Of course professor, she you later Val" Hermione waved to the girl as she waved back
10 pm
Valerie had been sitting in her room waiting for Hermione to come back but there had been no sign of her.
"Hey,lav have you saw Hermione anywhere"
"No not until I saw her with mcgonagall earlier"
"Thanks anyway lav,I'm just gonna head to bed,night" Valerie says getting into bed
"Night val" lavender says walking out the room"
Valerie had been tossing and turning all night not being able to sleep without knowing where Hermione was, after a couple minutes of deep thought she decides to make herself a hot chocolate to help her fall asleep.
The girl made her way back into bed falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
MORNING
Everything was peaceful in the dorm only the faint sounds of birds chirping could be heard until two large tall gingers decided to ruin it all.
"VALERIEEEEE"
"WAKIE WAKIE"
"RISE AND SHINEEE"
Fred and George shout as the girl jolts up into a panic.
"Is Hermione okay" the girl says without realising.
"Oh worried about mrs granger now are you Val" Fred says with a smirk forming on his face
"I feel betrayed Val thought you loved us more" George says fake crying into Fred's shoulder.
Valerie shuts the boys up by throwing her pillow at them
"Hey not cool, we brought toast for you since you were up late" fred says huffing
"Late for what"she asks rubbing her eyes
" the second task of course" George says throwing a jumper and jeans at the girl
"Shit thats today, I'll quickly get ready" she says running to the bathroom as both boys laugh.
10 mins later
The trio began to walk to the black lake to get good seats they got right down the front as they see the four champions get ready.
"Who do you think will win"Valerie asks
"We've got our money on Cedric what about you?" The two ask
"I think harr-" Valerie try's to say as she is interrupted by the gun being fired
It had been about five minutes and only fluer had come back she couldn't get her sister until a splash from the water erupts and Valerie sees Hermione swimming over
"Omg,Hermione are you okay" the girl asks wrapping a towel around the shaking girl
"Yeah-I'm-okay" Hermione attempts to say as Valerie helps the girl up.
LATER
both girls are sitting in the dorm bored as ever.
"You wanna watch a movie Val" Hermione asks
"Sure you pick and I'll make popcorn" Valerie says running down to the common to make it while Hermione sets it up.
2 mins later
"Okay I'm back Iv got the popcorn" Valerie says sitting it down on Hermiones bed as she goes back to her own
"Val you can sit over here with me" Hermione says patting the bed for the girl
"Erm okay" the girl says moving to Hermiones bed
Both girls were watching the movie and eating popcorn until Hermione accidentally grabbed Valerie's hand when a scary part came on.
"Oh god Val,I'm sorry I really am, I knew you didn't like it" Hermione says quickly taking her hand off the girls
"Mione it's okay" Valerie says with a shocked look on her face surprising herself by what she said
"Are you sure Valerie,I know that's not your thing" Hermione says with a guilty look on her face
"I know,I'm still getting used to it but that was okay" the girl says while some tears roll down her cheeks
"Oh Val no crying yeah,you'll make me cry" the girl says giggling as Val lets out a yawn
" you tired" she asks
Valerie just nods about to get up
"Just sleep with me I'll keep to my side,plus you look cosy there
"Night Mione" Valerie says falling asleep as soon as she says it
"Goodnight beautiful" Hermione says lying down next to the girl.
