Another Reality (Levi x Reader)

Bath pt2

"Can you walk?" He asked, standing infront of you.

"I don't think s-so.." you wiped your eyes with your arms, giving him a small smile.

Levi nodded and picked you up. "I hope the bath isn't too hot. I don't know how you like it" he commented as he entered the bathroom.

"Im sure it's okay, thank you" you said as he set you on the edge of the tub and helped you remove your shirt. He grabbed your hands and examined your wrists that were still red from the binding. "It looks like we were up almost all night."

"I never slept much anyway. I always found it to be a waste of time." He held your arm to help you into the bath.

You laughed, "I know"

"Yes you know me quite well." He gave a small smile.

"We can watch the show today and see if we can find a way to get you home." You said, a hint of sadness in your voice.

"This show, we have nothing like that where I am from, as you know. But I assume it's kind of like a book." He pondered, grabbing a plastic cup and pouring water over you to clean you off. I didn't think he was actually going to wash me. His aftercare is pretty impeccable. "Do you have a favorite character?" He tried to ask casually while grabbing the soap.

"Well, yes. You." You blinked at the obvious question. He lathered your skin. After some investigating he found the shampoo bottle and lathered your hair as well.

He looked surprised. "Why me?" He rinsed the soap off, then started rinsing your hair.

"You made me feel safe.. you were my comfort." You were looking at your reflection in the bathwater. "I'm honestly just surprised that.. you'd want.. well, me. I know I'm the only one you've really been around since you got here but.."

Levi grabbed your face and turned you to look at him. "Do not degrade yourself." He demanded. I knew he had trouble showing emotion, which is why he was so blunt sometimes.

You changed the subject "So that, what just happened was all your frustration?" You laughed, referring to what he said earlier.

He sighed with humor. "No. But I didn't think you could take anymore." He reached down and pulled the plug for the tub "Don't worry, we will pick it back up later. I may not need sleep but you do."

Levi helped you out of the tub and wrapped you in a towel. He was right, you were exhausted and still trying to wrap your head around what happened.

Once you guys got to the bedroom he laid next to you. "Why were you up so late drinking?" You asked. "I know you usually only drink on occasion, I didn't think you'd be drinking alone."

"I was upset. I had a good time with you. It was different that it was with my comrades. It was relaxing. I didn't need to worry or be ready to fight. I felt guilty having left everyone else to shoulder that burden." He admitted. "When I looked at you next to me after all that I realized that I had taken a liking to you, I didn't think you'd return the feelings."

"You don't have to feel bad for enjoying yourself while you can" you reassured him. "you deserve to." With that you fell asleep.

You woke up to the smell of food. Levi was not next to you anymore so you figured it must be him cooking. You hoped out of bed and walked over to the closed door. You reached for the handle and stopped in your tracks. You were still naked from the night before.

You quickly threw an oversized shirt on and left your room, you found Levi had prepared breakfast.. or brunch and cleaned your house. "oh you're up" he said, flipping some bacon over in a pan.

"Yeah I am.. you didn't have to do all this.." you said in amazement.

"I enjoy cleaning. And as for the food, I was hungry. I found the manuals for all your gadgets so I familiarized myself" he explained while making a plate.

After eating you guys decided to settle in and watch the show. Levi watched as you queued it up, he was curious having never seen anything like this before.

"I'll start with episode 14, it was the one I watched when it happened." You told him. "I wonder if you'll remember any of it."

The show started. This was the episode where Levi kicked the shit out of Eren. One of your favorites if you were being honest. Levi sat next to you, leaning forward, elbows on his knees, hands folded infront of his face.

Finally the scene where Levi knocked Eren's tooth out and gave him a beating. Honestly you always liked that scene I used to think I'd let Levi kick the shit out of me like that and I'd thank him for it. Probably still true. You thought to yourself, looking over at him. He was smiling.

"You like this part too?" You laughed.

"Yes I remember this. Though it wasn't because I wanted to beat the shit out of the brat.. watching it I look like I'm enjoying it." He mused. "So when did it happen?"

"Well I watched that part, then I went to make some popcorn. That's when it happened." You told him

"Hm." He hummed. You guys waited through the whole episode. Nothing happened. You turned the t.v off.

"I'm sorry, I thought it might work." You felt kind of bad. But a part of you was happy he could stay longer.

"It was worth a try. Besides even if it did, who's to say I could have gotten back" he said with his usual expression. "Or even worse you could wind up with that brat Eren stuck here." His humor could be dry sometimes but you laughed, if was nice seeing him making jokes.
