Another Reality (Levi x Reader)

Midnight

Levi walked through the door to your bedroom and gently sat you on the bed. He knelt before you, placing your foot on his knee. You wondered what he was doing until you realized you still had your shoes on. He unties the lace and slipped the show off and repeated on the other foot.

You fiddled with the button on his cloak but he needed to help you with that too. It was quiet the whole time. Not awkward or anything, but quiet. After assisting you he stepped back to fold his cloak up, as he always did with his clothes.

You yawned and stretched. Slipping your arm behind your back you unclasped your bra and pulled it out the sleeve of your shirt, launching it basketball style at the laundry hamper. He wasn't looking at you so he didn't see it, although his hearing is amazing so he probably knew what you did anyway.

You slumped back onto your pillow. "hmmm" you sighed, eyes closed. You then felt Levi lift you again to place you under the covers. I guess the AC was on so it could be chilly. "Levi?"

He walked to the light switch and turned it off "yes?"

"Can you stay with me for a bit?" You patted the spot beside you, eyes still closed. Honestly you really wanted to fall asleep next to someone. And he made you feel safe.

Without saying a word he walked over and laid down next to you, folding his arms behind his head. Out of, what you assume to be respect, he did not get under the covers. He just laid on top. 

You rolled to face him, almost asleep, you couldn't feel it this time but he was watching you. Absent mindedly your hand wandered and you placed it on his chest. You fell asleep.

About an twenty minutes later, Levi started nodding off. He didn't want to make you uncomfortable, so he tried to get up to go sleep the couch. However, when he tried to get up your hand balled onto a fist, making sure you had a secure hold on his shirt.

Your eyes opened ugh what time is it.. you glanced at the clock. Almost one. You went to bed at about 12AM so about an hour had passed.

You sighed and memories came flooding back to you. Drinking with Levi, making him laugh, him carrying you. You asking him to stay with you..in your bed. You looked over, he was gone.

You heard someone in the living room, figuring it was him you got up. "I need some water anyway" you mumbled, stretching.

As you creeped into the kitchen to grab some water bottles, you heard the would of a glass rattling full of ice. Out of curiosity you poked your head into the living room.

Levi was sitting on the couch, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees, glass in hand. "Levi?" You said softly. He looked up at you, extremely flushed, face soft. Oh my god he is drunk.. it looks like he finished my bottle. "Continuing the party" You asked with a little laugh, passing him a water bottle.

He took it and looked back down to the floor, his expression hardened. "Yes, I have some things on my mind and couldn't manage to fall asleep."

"Are you alright?" You asked, he looked different now, it made you sad.

"Yes I'm fine." He said with a small sigh. "You asked me to stay with you, I apologise if my leaving woke you." He brought his drink to his mouth, finishing the last of it.

"No it's fine, I wanted water anyway" you yawned, rubbing your eyes. Looking back at him you said "now it's time for me to cut you off" as you gently reached out to take his empty glass from him. 

"You're tired, you should be in bed" Levi got up, gesturing for you two to leave.

"Only because I'm tired, not because you tell me to" you teased as you got up to leave, Levi followed behind.

Once you got into the room, you walked over to the dresser to get some Advil. Levi went right to his spot and got into bed, sitting up, using a pillow to support his back. He reclined a bit, putting his arms up behind his head and closing his eyes.
