"THALIA, please let's go back to the Philippines." pakiusap ko kay Thalia na hindi nakatingin sa akin.

"Aren't you happy with me here?" lumingon ito ng bahagya, I stayed silent for awhile.

"I am," I whispered, "but I also miss my mom."

"I don't want to remember my memories in the Philippines," she said firmly, tumayo ako at nilapitan ito, she puts my hand around her waist then she clung her arms on my neck.

"I'm not forcing you to remember anything, I just wanted to go home,"

"Okay, fine. We will. But you need to call me baby from now on, like before." natigilan ako saglit, "You can't? Then let's stay here."

" We'll go right now, baby." napangiti naman ito at niyakap siya ulit, "let's eat, I'll book us a flight."

"I'll call for food delivery babe!" mababakasan ng tuwa ang tinig nito ng sabihin iyon habang papunta sa telepono at tumawag na, napabuntong hininga na lang ito. Dali dali naman siyang nag pa book ng ticket pauwi ng Pilipinas.

"MOMMY! I wanna go to school." napalingon naman ako sa anak ko, "please mommy please, then tati Val will be my teacher!" nasa sala sila at nanonood ng paboritong disney princess na si Belle.

"You wanna go to school?" I smiled, paanong makakalimutan ko tatay neto eh xerox copy niya, agaran naman ang pagtango nito sa kaniya at pinagdaop ang kamay.

"Please, please, please mommy, pretty please?"

"Okay, I'll enroll you next school year baby," sakto lang naman dahil mag f-five na siya in three months and Ley is a really bright child, mabilis itong matuto in fact, minsan ang kausap ko parang matanda.

"What? but mommy I wanna go to school now, tati Val can look after me at school and we don't need a nanny anymore."

"No baby, if you'd go now you'd be late besides you'll only wait for 3 months and it's summer, and summer means-" I wiggled my brows and I heard her giggle.

"Ley's party!" tuwang-tuwa at palundag lundag ito kaya pati siya ay napangiti na, "okay mommy, next school year then."

"but mommy, can we go out today? I miss having dates with you!" pumayag naman agad siya dahil wala siyang pasok ngayon.

"We'll have our lunch in the mall so let's take a bath, shall we?" nilahad niya ang kamay dito na parang isang prinsipe at kinuha naman nito at tumatawang umakyat sa kwarto nila.

After preparing they went to the mall, masiglang kumakanta ang anak niya habang siya naman ay nagmamaneho.

"Mommy! can you sing the Beauty and the Beast song, please please? The Belle's song." dahil ayaw niyang maputol ang kasiyahan nito kinanta niya na ang gustong kanta nito.

"Little town

"BONJOUR!"  pakantang sigaw ni Ley. Nagtawanan lang silang dalawa at gano'n lamang ang ginawa nila hanggang sa makarating sa mall.

When they got there una nilang pinuntahan ang toy store, nagpabili ito ng isang teddy bear at niyaya na siyang umalis, her daughter isn't materialistic naalala ko tuloy no'ng sinabi nitong, 'one is enough mommy, I don't need these.'
