I'm scared of my Alpha mate

Chapter 14

Alexs POV:

Wow, I can't believe how much training Torie really needed. I knew she wasn't training to be a warrior or nothing before we met but I kinda hoped she was a bit stronger. But I don't need to worry most Lunas get their strength after finalizing the mate bond. I honestly felt a bit disappointed when I found out she was my mate at the party. The first time I saw her she looked so small and fragile. Nothing about her stood out about her, she looked so normal. I always imagined that when I would find my mate she would be this beautiful and strong women. That you could easily spot her in a crowded room because of the energy that would radiate off of her. But when I spotted Torie, she blended in and not in a follow the crowd kind of way, more like blended into the walls kind of way. I walked away and was thinking how could the moon goddess ever curse me with such a mate. But when I went in again to get a drink and saw her grinding against another male I lost it. Everything I was doubting left my mind and the only thing I could think about was to get her away from the other wolf, take her in a room alone and mark her as mine so nobody else would ever touch her.

After dragging her away from the party and heading to my house I finally took an actual look at her that night. She wasn't your typical drop dead gorges every male would be drooling over, but to me she was just perfect. Her skin was smooth, her eyes the perfect shade of brown. I never knew brown eyes were so beautiful and the most perfect color anybody could have for an eye color. Hers weren't just your typical brown though. They were brown not dark brown not light brown but brown. The brown that at the perfect light they would just glow. And her smile, just wow. I never knew I wanted something as much as her smiling at me. Who cares if she is weak, I'll just make sure to be extra strong to protect her and our future pups.

Tories POV:

Wow, who knew wolf training was so much harder then just a normal trip to the gym. We wolf are way more stronger than your average human, which means your normal heavy weights at a human gym have no effect on us. I would go work out there to just keep myself in a nice shape but I never trained to kill. But no worries after a couple more training days at an actual gym for wolves and I'll be there.

"Hey Torie, how was your workout with the big bad wolf?" Sandy shouted waving me over to her and her sisters. Sadly Grace was there and she didn't look quit happy that Sandy had decided to call me over. "Brutal! I didn't know I was so out of shape until I tried flipping over grown ass male wolfs." I replied draping myself over the couch to exhausted to care that my presence was probably irritating Grace to the max.

"That sounds horrible, but at least you'll get stronger once you finish the matting bond with Alex." Sandy giggled at me. Oh no! I somehow totally forgot about that part of the matting bond. I was barley starting to get along with Alex and it never even crossed my mind that we would have to sleep together to finish the matting bond. "Oh, yea will hopefully after that I'll be able to flip them without any trouble." I tried laughing it off. Hoping nobody would question me to much after that.

"Is there trouble in paradise?" Grace finally spoke up with a sinister smile coming across her face. "What of course not! We are just taking things slow." I answered hoping nobody saw the lie behind my voice. "It just sounds to me that something must be wrong since its been a bit since you guys met and still aren't fully matted. Me and my mate finished the bond the first night we met, in fact everybody I know has finished the matting bond the first night they met." Grace stated matter of factly.

Even though its really been only like one week since we've meet to not have finished the mating bond the first night is not usually for regular wolfs. Wolfs finish the mating bond the first night and try to have pups right away to help grow the pack. The bigger the pack the stronger the pack which is an very important motto in the wolf world. So for an Alpha and future Luna to still not be fully matted is quite odd looking.

"I think its cute, that there taking things slow," Sandy replied to Grace with a smile. "Speaking of mating, when are both of you girls going to finally pop some out! I can't believe that I am the only one who's pregnant still!" Sandy exclaimed to both of her sisters. Hmmm that's interesting that Grace wants to put the whole mate thing in my face yet she's here still not contributing to her pack.

"Not our fault our older sister couldn't wait for us!" Adriana replied. Older sister? I always thought for some reason the order of siblings born was that Grace was the oldest of the girls Sandy the youngest and Alex the oldest of them all. "Wait, I always thought Grace was the oldest of the girls," I questioned Adriana. "Nope, Sandy is the oldest sibling then Grace, Me and last Alex!" She replied to me smiling. Hmm, so many questions have just popped into my head! First of all why does Grace want the throne if it makes since that Sandy be before her. And imagine the youngest sibling taking over before the oldest one. I know Alex is taking over because his the male but I guess the rightful aire should be Sandy.

After speaking with them and finding some very interesting things. I went upstairs to shower and wait for dinner. Alex luckily came soon after to get ready for dinner. We ate and just stayed kinda silent the inter night. I knew why I was silent but I don't know why he was silent.

"Who's Mark?" And just like that my whole life crumbled before me and I couldn't breath or move. How!? How, did Alex find out about Mark. Who told him. Its been such a long time since I've heard that name.
