I'm scared of my Alpha mate

Chapter 11

Tories P.O.V.

   "What! Why are they after me?" I asked Alex while shooting straight up from the bed after hearing the news I just got. "We don't know yet but I promise you their not going anywhere near you as long as I'm alive." Alex said while trying to calm me down. I calmed down a bit but I was still a bit shaking up about the news.

   The next morning I woke up with Alex cuddling with me. I think the times we have slept together are the best nights of my life. "Morning babe." Alex said while pecking my check. "Let me guess you have Alpha business." I told him while turning over to face him. "No, today is all about you." He told me while smiling. A day with Alex? I really need this. Even better is that I probably won't even have to see his sister Grace for a whole day. "Ok good, I need a chill day with my mate." I told him while snuglying close to him. "How do you need a chill day if you went to sleep at lunch time and slept all day." He asked me while chuckling.

   It wasn't my fault, being vocally abused by Grace takes a-lot out of someone. "Ok, maybe not a stay in bed kind of day but not so much that I have to get all fancy." I told him. "How about we just walk around in the forest for a bit then come home and watch some movies?" He asked me. That sounds great my wolf could run around for a bit, she hasn't been out in awhile. "Ok deal sounds like a good plan not to much dressing up and yet still being calm." I told him while starting to get up from the bed to change and shower.

   After both me and Alex changed we headed to the kitchen to get some food to take with us. We walked into the kitchen to see everybody eating and talking. I also saw Sandy, Adriana and Grace sitting and talking. "Hey Torie, where are you and Alex going?" Sandy asked me while looking at the basket. "We're just going to walk around in the forest." I told her while smilling up at Alex. "Shouldn't Alex be doing more important stuff than wasting his time walking around in the forest?" Grace asked me. I just looked down not really wanting to answer her. I never know what to say back to her I suck at comebacks. "Being with my mate is important, for your information Grace." Alex told her while grabbing my hand and walking out the door.

   "So I was thinking that we trot to were where going in our wolf form?" Alex asked me when we steeped outside of the house. "Yes! Please I miss my wolf so much." I told him while smiling from ear to ear. "Ok lets go!" He said while going behind a tree to shift. We shifted into our wolfs and just trotted I followed behind Alex to were where going.

   We got there in 15 minutes. It was a really beautiful space with different kind of flowers and colors. We changed back to our human selfs. "So what do you think?" Alex asked me while sitting down. "Its really beautiful." I told him while sitting next to him on the ground. "Want to eat because I am starving!" Alex said while grabbing the basket of food. "Of course I haven't eating since yesterday!" I told him while grabbing the sandwich that was in his hand. "Hey that was my sandwich." He said while pouting at me. I just shrugged my shoulders and ate my sandwich. "Your lucky your my mate." He said while grabbing another sandwich we ate in silence but not an awkward one but a peaceful one.

   "So how has your day been so far?" Alex asked me while grabbing my waist and pulling me closer to him. "Even though the day has barely begun, I'm doing good because I'm with my mate." I told him while looking up to him. Alex leaned down and kissed me and just like the first time I felt sparks going through the kiss. *snap* We stopped kissing and turned our head to the sound. "Who's out there!" Alex asked while standing up and helping me up as well. A wolf came out and a horrible stench hit me. Rogue. "Stay behind me," Alex told me while pushing me behind him. "Get out of my territory or else you filthy rogue!" Alex screamed at the wolf. Just than five more rogues in human form came out. "Well well well, if it isn't Alex and his beautiful mate Torie." One of the rogues said while standing with the rest of them. "What do you want!" Alex screamed at them. "Easy, we want your beautiful mate. Our leader wants her." He said while gesturing to me. Leader? Rogues don't have leaders they go by their own command and not by some leader.

   "Well your mistaken if you think your going to take her!" Alex barked while his eyes turning black. "Fine, you want it the hard way that's fine with me." The rogue said while shifting into a brown dirty wolf with the others. Alex shifted into his wolf and ran towards them bitten one of them in the leg. One down five to go. Alex was fighting three of them while the other two came towards me. I shipped into my wolf and charged towards them. I bit one of them in the neck but the other one tackled me to the ground. He bit into my shoulder making me cry out in pain. That's when a wolf tackled him off of me. "Torie! Oh my god sweety are you ok?" Alex asked me while cradling me into his arms. Putting a towel over my bear body. "No! That stupid wolf bit my shoulder." I told him while holding the shoulder that he bit. "Its going to be ok lets get you to the pack doctor." He told me while running back to the house. Luckily it seemed that the other wolfs had left. 

   We got to the pack doctors house before I could pass out from the pain. He gave me a few stiches so that my shoulder could heal faster. "How is she?" Alex asked the doctor. "She's fine Alpha her shoulder should heal in an hour or so." He told him. Alex walked over to me and helped me of the hospital bed. "Well today didn't go as planned I'm so sorry." He told me while hugging me, being careful not to touch my shoulder. "Its fine, I'm just a bit tired could we lay down for the rest of the day?" I asked him while pulling him to our room. "Fine, but be careful with your shoulder." Alex said while helping my lay down on the bed. "I am going to kill those rogues!" He said getting mad. "No, just lay here with me for now please. I need you right now." I told him reaching for his hand. "Fine, lets just end this horrible day." He said laying down with me.

   "Are you hungry or something?" Alex asked me. "Yea a bit." I told him while snugglying close to him for his warmth and protictoveness that he gives of. "Ok I'll tell somebody to bring some food for us." He said while mindlikeing somebody to bring us some food. "I can't believe I let this happen to you." He told me while looking at the bite on my shoulder. "Its not your fault you tried your best." I told him while rubbing his check to help him calm down a bit. We just layed in bed for the rest of the day and had people bring our food to us. We didn't talk so much as just looked into each others eyes and kissed once in awhile till we feel asleep.
