we got out of the car and headed into our hotel room. i unpacked most of my things, but not all of them. the concert was at 7:30pm. it was 4:56pm, so we had time.  i make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and turned on the television to see what was on. i found a channel i wanted to watch and it seemed pretty interesting. i finished my sandwich and turned the television off so i could get ready with music instead. music was my only coping mechanism. nothing else worked. i don't know what it was in music, but something about it always made me feel so special and it basically just said fuck life and what's going on in the world. this is your world and we're just living in it. i just love it so much. i turned the bathroom light on and put got my makeup out. i decided i'm just going to go casual because i think i'm going to either be crying...or be crying even harder, so i didn't put to much on. it was now 6:48, and i have to leave now so i can be outside of the venue to get front row seats. "MOM, WE HAVE TO GO!" i shouted towards the direction my mom was in. my mom came out of the room she was in and looked me up and down "you have your own license...drive yourself." oh right i forgot i was seventeen. i headed out of our hotel room and waited for the elevator to ding at me so i could go get in the car. i put the car into drive and headed off to the venue.
