CHAPTER SIX

ranboo's POV:

I took out my phone from my bag along with some earbuds," Wanna listen to some music?"

Tubbo nodded, "What kind of music do you listen to?"

"This guy is named Lemon Demon. I love the music," I handed him the left earbud and put the right one in my ear.

He nodded as I started off the music with two trucks. We sat there for a few songs as he laughed along to the lyrics. (TWO TRUCKS, HAVING SE—)

After a little bit, Bad walked in and asked to see me. He brought me to the kitchen and closed the door behind him. I saw dream and George standing next to the fridge. Oh great... what is this going to turn into.

Dream crossed his arms," What happened with the hand mark. That wasn't always there."

His question sounded more like demands. "Uh- It's nothing, trust me. It's nothing," I stammered.

Bad spoke softly, "We all just want to know what's going on. No one but Tubbo really knows you and we just want to get to know you. You have things happening with..Yourself.. That we need to know about." He stopped," But That burn you have doesn't look like a normal burn. And we- no. Dream needs to know what it is. Can you please help us?" (omg so nice bad)

Dream stepped forward and motioned for me to give him my hand," Trust me. Please." When I didn't give him my hand he took a deep breath," You seem to mean a lot to Tubbo given how long you've known each other. And I know how it feels to have that kind of bond with someone." He glanced at George then back at me.

I placed my hand in his so he could inspect it. "So how did this happen? this isn't like anything i've ever seen.." He flipped my hand to see the palm.

"I-I don't know. I just don't remember, I'm sorry," I apologized.

He moved his eyes up to mine,"I don't want any lame ass excuses. You're going to tell me how this happened. Right now."

He squeezed my hand with extreme force, "Ow! Ow! Okay! I'll tell you just please stop!!"

"Okay Dream that's enough. You're hurting him," George put a hand on Dreams' forearm.

He shook his head and let go of me, "Yeah, yeah, sorry. Now tell me what happened."

"All I did was touch water. I tried putting my hand in the water and it started to hurt."

"It looks like a chemical burn.. You said this was just water?" Dream questioned.

I nodded and he looked at George. "Do you think it could be the beast? He has the attributes of it.." He whispered.

"What's 'the beast'?" I put quotations over 'the beast'.

"Some of us have been tracking this what we like to call, unkillable beast," Bad adjusted his hoodie. "And ever since you came into the picture. Things have been very..weird. You seem to have some of the attributes of it."

"which are??"

George stepped forward," The almost being allergic to water thing, The monsters and undead avoiding you. That's only the surface."

"Are you saying I'm a beast?! That seems very improbable," I put a hand to my chest.

"Listen, kid," Dream started. "I wanna do some tests on you. This could be a breaking discovery."

"what?! no!! I'm not going to be a guinea pig for your stupid experiments! I'm not a beast! I'm a human being!" I yelled.

Dream slapped a hand over my mask, "You better shut the fuck up before I make you. No one can know about this. Especially the kids.... Face it. You have no choice."

I could feel my breath quickening until a hand came onto my back. "Calm down Ranboo.. It'll be okay. This is for the best," Bad attempted to calm me down.

I wish I could forget this

I don't want to do this!

"I-I need to go on a walk.. I'm sorry. I can't handle this," Before I ran out I could hear a faint 'He's just a kid, Dream. don't put this on him.'

Before I knew it I was outside. All the leaves are starting to fall.

Calm down...

I heard a stick breaking and realized it wasn't coming from under me. It was behind me. I lifted my head and slowly turned around.

"It's you."
