Chapter 16 "doah"

*a few days later*
Charlis pov-I was out in Hollywood with liv and Dixie buying things for us we were talking I knew that Dixie and Noah were back from their trip to the Bahamas but Dixie didn't mention anything about engagement or were really hanging out together so i ask so what's up with you and Noah?" She didn't answer it seemed like she was zoned out I say "dix dixie!".she snaps out and says "yea?".I say "are you ok you seemed a hit zoned out".she says "oh it uh nothing ".I say "ok" not believing what she said we kept walking I then ask "so what's up with you and Noah you seem pretty distant from each other".she says "oh umm we aren't really together anymore".not together anymore? Dixies pov-I was out with Charli but I had my mind on the Bahamas trip with Noah we had enjoyed it so much on the last day he took me to a lifeguard tower it was decorated like when he asked me out.it was pretty romantic he then went out for a bit to grab something I was looking out the tower looking at the sunset when I heard come back in I turned around and saw him on one knee with a box with a ring in it I instantly knew he was proposing he said all these lovely things I freaked out and said no and ran out I saw him standing there looking sad and confused I was crying as I ran back to the hotel room I was freaked out and I started packing and booked the quickest flight as I was in the airport I saw Noah texting me asking me what happend and where I was I didn't reply.I guess Charli noticed I was zoned out because I heard "dix dixie!".I snapped out of it and said "yea?".she asks "are you ok?".I say "oh uh it's nothing I'm fine".she says "ook" not believing me we continued walking and talking till she asks "so what's up with you and Noah? Charlis pov-I was really confused but we continued shopping around 2 hours later we finish shopping she said she was tired so she went to her apartment.I say "oh well goodnight dix see you tomorrow".I hug her and she smiles at me as she gets in her Uber.I get a call from chase I answer "hey.he says "hey you should come over to the studio I have something to show you".I exitedly say "ok I'm on my way" and before he could say anything I hung up so I can get in the car and drive over to the studio.when I get there I get greeted with a kiss as always and he says "look listen".he clicks play and I hear a acoustic guitar play at the beginning and soon hear this...

Charlis pov-i realized it was the song chase told me about 2 weeks ago he had finished recording it I didn't even notice and I was crying already

*1 week later*

Charlis pov-we we're at my apartment liv was asleep and I was with chase I said "Dixie and Noah aren't together anymore".chase says "really?".I say "yea apparently noah proposed and Dixie said no".
