"NOOOOOO!" Lucifer yelled in agony.

People began running and screaming while Lucifer was looking at his wife who was falling down but he ended up catching her in time.

"L-Luci," she weakly says as he screamed not caring who saw as his wings spread out from behind his back.

Lucifer quickly gathered his bleeding wife from the ground and flew up into the air.

"The baby," Lucifer heard Asura weakly say as tears were in his own eyes.

"It's okay we're almost there love, please don't close your eyes,"

"Luci.... If- If it comes down to it..... me or the baby. Please choose the baby," Asura says closing her eyes just as Lucifer arrived in front of the hospital.

"HELP! HELP! MY WIFE IS PREGNANT AND SHES BEEN SHOT!" Lucifer frantically yells out as nurses began rushing towards them.

As soon as she was put on the stretcher Lucifer was holding onto her hand tightly while they were rushing to get her into a room.

"SIR YOU CANT GO IN!" One of the nurses say as Lucifer had let go of Asura's hand as the nurse blocked his path.

ONE HOUR LATER

"Oh my God Lucifer," Chloe says as Lucifer's eyes were blood shot with his leg bouncing up and down.

He's been at the hospital for one hour and nobody has told him anything about his wife or unborn child so of course the only person he goes to was  Chloe.

"W-What have I done to deserve this?" Lucifer asked with no emotion in his voice even though he was crying as Chloe went to sit next to him.

"I can't have one day.... One day with my wife who I haven't seen in the last couple of nights.... I just wanted to make her happy by giving her her chocolate and in return she gets shot," Lucifer says with a broken voice as he was about to break down crying again.

He truly loves his wife, she meant the world to him
And the fact that she got shot broke him mentally and physically and he couldn't protect her. In a sense blamed himself for what happened.

"Lucifer Morningstar," a doctor says cleaning his hands as Lucifer and Chloe both stood up.

"There both okay. They both will survive,"

"OH THANK DAD!" Lucifer shouted hugging the doctor as he quickly put his hands up in defense.

"Umm..... Lucifer you might want to-" Chloe began but Lucifer had already let him go.

"And my baby? Is any harm done to him?"

"To her you mean Mr. Morningstar and surprisingly no the bullet missed her she's very strong,"

"I'm sorry you said she?" Lucifer asked shocked. "I thought Asura was for sure it was a boy,"

"No your having a girl. Congratulations Mr. Morningstar,"

"Is she awake?"

"Unfortunately no. She is resting and had a pretty hard hit. I suggest you sit and wait for some more by the way how many months pregnant is she?"

"Uhhhh...... she's 4 months pregnant?"

"FOUR?! Lucifer last month you just-" Chloe began but instantly shut up as he gave her a look.

"I'll let you know when you can come in okay?" The doctor says before walking away.

"Four months? Lucifer you just announced it last month," Chloe whispers giving him a weird look.

"You know where not humans Detective, my wife is a demon and I'm an Angel pregnancy happens to work differently with us, 1 month equals four months, but more importantly I'm having a girl?! I was not expecting that,"

"Any names?"

"No we've only been looking at boy names. Asura can sense weather the baby is a boy or a girl just like how she sensed she was pregnant to begin with but what's weird is that it's a girl when she said she sensed a boy,"

"Maybe both?"

"Absurd detective! I can't take care of twins dad better implanted only one,"

"Wait your dad made her pregnant?"

"Don't make it sound weird. He blessed her in pregnancy he thinks this will be good for us,"

"Well I believe it will. You and Asura are really happy for each other even though your the Devil and she's-"

"My demon lady," Lucifer says smirking as Chloe rolled her eyes.

"Hey on a serious note Lucifer we will find out who did this and bring them in,"

"Oh I have no doubt we'll find out who and when we do I'll rip his heart out and make him eat it,"

"Look, I know your the Devil and everything but that's too extreme don't you think?"

"Not in my world,"

"Mr. Morningstar, your wife is ready to see you," a nurse says as Lucifer didn't hesitate to walk towards her and leaving Chloe standing there alone.
