Lucifer Morningstar rushed up to the penthouse and into their shared bedroom. Inside he saw his pregnant wife barley breathing with sweat down her forehead. Maze had a cloth on her forehead and holding her hand with the other.

"Maze-"

"LUCIFER!" She suddenly shouted getting up and pulling out her weapons.

She had tears running down her face as she charged at him. Lucifer easily blocked her as he pushed her forcefully on the ground. Maze quickly gets back up and charges for him again, and with each blow he only dogged her as he found an opening and kicked her hard in the stomach causing her to fly to a wall.

"ENOUGH!" He shouted showing his Devil face at Mazikeen who's eyes widened.

Lucifer quickly turned away and walked towards his wife as he kneeled and held onto her hand. Lucifer leaned down and kissed her on the forehead. A light began to develop around her as Lucifer kept his lips planted on her forehead. Asura began to awaken no longer feeling feverish as Lucifer leaned back up.

"Lucifer?" She asked noticing her voice returning to normal.

Lucifer gave his wife a sad smile.

"Hey.... I know your mad at me, more mad beyond words can count. I'm sorry I left you darling, I know I shouldn't have. The reason you got Ill was because of my absence, I was stupid to have been away from you but I'm just so scared for you that I didn't want to face reality on what was to come,"

"You've left me Lucifer. You didn't return my calls, or texts, I got sick because of you! I'm a demon I'm not supposed to get sick!"

"I know darling the reason why was because I was away from you. If I'm away too long you start to get sick and you can die if I'm not around. You forget I created you, and that means you can get destroyed if I'm not around you,"

"Why did you leave me Lucifer? Leave us?" She asked placing her hand on her stomach.

Lucifer took a deep breath. He didn't want to tell her what was going to happen but knew he didn't have a choice at the moment as a tear ran down his eye.

"Father...... the day I went to talk with father he told me..... he told me that our baby is the strongest baby alive since she's half angel, half demon. He also told me that she is going to destroy you Asura," he reveals causing her eyes to widen.

"You mean..... I'm dying during childbirth?!"

"Sadly yes, I stayed away because I didn't want to see you die. I love you but I know you'd chose our child over your own life,"

Asura took in a deep breath.

"That's right. I would Lucifer. I just wish you told me this because we could have been together but instead you ran from it Lucifer,"

"And I'm sorry about that darling. Please understand that I-"

"I really don't want to hear it okay? I need space and time,"

"You don't have time though," Lucifer says tears pooling around in his eyes.

"Should have thought about that beforehand. You've hurt me Lucifer, when I needed you the most you weren't there. Just answer me this one question," Asura says taking a deep breath as Lucifer had his hands buried in his face.

He knew he messed up and now he doesn't know how to make it up to her.

"Who were you with? The whole time you were gone?" He asked causing Lucifer to look up at her.

"I-I-I I was with..... Chloe, Asura," he confessed as Asura closed her eyes tears down her face.

"It's not what you think As-"

"AHHHHH!" Mazikeen yelled charging at Lucifer again as he rolled away on time and dogged the attack before she could slice him.

"YOU CHEATING, LYING, SON OF A BITCH! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO YOUR PREGNANT WIFE?!" She shouted going for him with each blow.

This lasted until she had Lucifer up against a wall with either blade on his neck.

"ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!"

"THATS WHAT THEY ALL SAY!"

"Maze enough," Asura said calmly causing Maze to turn her head to look at her rage filled eyes.

Maze's gaze soften as she sighed and let go of Lucifer while putting her weapons away. He took a breath of relief.

"Thank you darling I really-" he begins but stopped as Asura was giving him a hard glare as he sighed.

"I know I messed up Love, can I make it up to you? I didn't do anything with Chloe if that's what your wondering, how could I when I love you?"

"If you really loved me you wouldn't have left,"

Lucifer sighed.

"But I didn't want to see you die,"

"Lucifer pregnancy lasts for nine months!"

"IN HUMAN YEARS ASURA! BLOODY HELL YOU'VE ONLY BEEN PREGNANT FOR ONE MONTH AND YOUR STOMACH IS BLOODY GIGANTIC! Who knows what next month is going to look like, there might not even be a next month Asura! I need to spend these days with you. I don't want to argue anymore, your the love of my life and I'm going to lose you because of this baby. I need you to know that I love you and only you, please, please forgive me. Let me be there," Lucifer says breaking down as he slid down against the wall and began to cry.

A/N: so to clear things up Asura got sick because Lucifer was away. If Lucifer is apart from Asura she gets truly ill and could die if he's away for too long. He did create her and could destroy her as well.
Btw it's my sons Third birthday tomorrow!!!!!
