Five days after the release of Friends: The Reunion

JEN

I don't get many day-offs. I usually jump from filming to press tours to red carpet events, but when I do I make sure to make the most out of them. Last night was a long work night, but even though I'm a night owl, I always wake up at about 8:30 or 9 AM the next day for my morning routine.

I'm preparing my celery juice when I received an unexpected text.

Hi! Good morning!

I hope I didn't wake you.

Saw a picture of your favorite monkey

so I thought I'd drop this in your inbox.

It's a cute photo of Marcel sitting on David's shoulder.

I remember his story of Marcel in the Reunion. He was still so mad about it. It was so amusing.

Finally!

I serve my furry babies Sophie, Clyde, and Lord Chesterfield's favorite snack before I resume our conversation.

You had lunch already?

I note the 3-hour time difference between Los Angeles and New York.

SCHWIM

Having it now. You? Breakfast?

JEN

Had my juice. Just about to work out.

SCHWIM

Oh right. No solids till 10 AM, I remember.

This exchange is so random and so adorable, I can't help but smile. I do my yoga and meditation, as usual, and after about an hour I get back to David.

Day off today so I'm just home.
