You laid on your stomach, on the top of the cliff. You, this time had been tasked with getting a visual on the Riders. You would give Viggo a signal when you thought it was time to approach. You decided to time it so that when they were just about to get the antidote, Viggo would appear, crossbows aimed, just like a film.
You gave them the 'OK' about a minute before you thought the riders would get the antidote. Viggo, Ryker and some hunters walk towards the riders in a horizontal line with the hunters beside them.
The timing was perfect, as they figured out that the antidote was Buffalord saliva  mixed with the liquid that comes out of the green herb, Viggo appeared.
You had long guessed that the antidote was that, as they repeatedly mouthed the words 'Green solution' and that the twins were messy with the herb's liquid running down their faces.
A hunter netted the dragon and you saw Viggo say something, and gesture to the sick dragon rider.
'Definitely mocking' you thought with a chuckle.
The Night Fury and the Monstrous Nightmare prepare for combat.
The man riding the Monstrous Nightmare takes off and Hiccup does the same on his own dragon. They try to eliminate the hunters and aren't doing well. The Zippleback goes down. A hunter aims his crossbow at it but gets knocked over by a plasma blast. The remaining dragons ceasefire and you see Hiccup bargain with Viggo, for the life of his rider and the dragon. But he showed anger, not an expression you want showing when you are trying to make a deal. You could barely hear every third word, and you were interested, so you decided to move to a different part of the cliff. You made as less sound as possible. The chances of you being caught are on the lower side, as they would be more focused on Viggo, but you were not going to take any chances.
You successfully moved to another spot.
''You should have ........ alone Hiccup! My fishing boat was no place for you, or any of your riders!''
You definitely heard that last part correctly.
'Way to spill the beans Viggo' You were no expert in strategizing, but revealing how you managed to get what you want just sounds like a dumb idea.
''Your fishing boat?'' Hiccup asked in sheer confusion.
You smiled, you found his confusion amusing.
Viggo ordered his men to move the dragon on the cart.
''Its simple, really. Supply and demand. I knew where to get the supply if I only could generate the demand.''
Fishlegs looks at Viggo
''You're a monster!'' He exclaims.

This was your first encounter besides the one two days ago with any of the dragon riders. You had learnt that Hiccup indeed was leader material. He was brave, he cared for his riders and he is capable of protecting himself and his dragon. The Thorston twins aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, they only survive because of their destructive nature and even more destructive dragon. Fishlegs seems like an innocent boy, you weren't sure. You didn't know much about the Monstrous Nightmare Rider either. Astrid has told you nothing from laying on the grass, except for the fact that she is very alert. Based of her cautiousness in the fishing boat.

''Fishlegs, I'm shocked! I would have thought you were above name calling. 'Monster'? No 'Savvy businessman' Indeed!'' Viggo mocked.
''And what if the dragon was extinct?''
''I tend not to dwell on the what-ifs my boy, leaves you barren.''
Hiccup shoots Viggo an angry glare at his reply.
''What are we waiting for?'' The boy yells, quite loud and annoyingly. You couldn't disagree with him though, hesitation can make a large dent in a plan.
''Lets take this psycho out already!''
''Toothless..''
He knew what to do.
''Ryker.'' Viggo said before 'Toothless' took action.
Ryker aimed the blade of one of his swords to the dragons neck and flinged it dangerously close, only stopping just before the blade touched its scales.
''NO!'' Hiccup yelled in desperation, his voice echoing to the entire island.
You were also startled, Viggo did not tell you about killing the dragon.
''I would think twice about your actions Hiccup.'' Viggo threatens.
''And your profits?'' He snapped back.
''Like i said, business is business. This? Oh its a loss I'm willing to encore. Question is, are you?
He looked back to Astrid. In a last resort,
''Okay Viggo you win take him- take the dragon'' he could barely say it
''But leave us with what we came here for, the scourge antidote, Buffalord saliva. I'm not leaving here without it. That's a loss I'm not willing to take!''

He looked back at Astrid, she said something, but the only word you could hear was
"Don't"
He turned back to face Viggo.
''Do we have a deal? Or are we both leaving empty-handed? Your call.''

After some thinking, Viggo decides against killing the beast. It is a win-win. He signals for Ryker to lift his blade and Hiccup lands near the Buffalord. He walks towards the Buffalord's mouth and starts filling his cup with Buffalord saliva. Viggo crosses his arms and approaches Hiccup.
''I've truly missed our time together, Hiccup. My brother leaves something to be desired in the repartee department.''
Ryker growls at the insult.
Hiccup doesn't acknowledge Viggo's words, nor presence.
''My boy, don't look so morose.''
The cup is full.
''It takes all the fun out of it.''
He walks away.
''All's well that ends well. Hmm?''
He shrugged at that last part, Hiccup didn't seem to find their feud amusing.
Astrid drinks the saliva while Viggo looks up to where you originally were, you saw his worried eyes scan all of the cliff till he found you, now sticking your whole head out. He let out a visible sigh of relief and gestures for you to return to the other ship. He had told you that you were going to be in a different ship, the backup ship. You smile and nod, heading for that ship.
You got lost in thought, wondering why the Buffalord was so docile. Then, you heard explosions coming from the direction you just came from.
You ran back up the hill, it was the quickest way you could get a visual on the direction of the noise. You saw Viggo's ship, the Buffalord had puffed up, about three times its original size. The dragon breathed fire like how a flamethrower would. You stared in worry as you realized Viggo was on that ship. You thought quickly and remembered what he said before he sent you up the cliff. You opened your pouch and searched frantically for that emergency flare. You found it, aimed and shot it South, like Viggo instructed. It wasn't as visible as it could have been in the late-afternoon sky, but it worked as the hunters from the backup ship started sailing towards the crash. Some of them started running towards it.
The dragon riders left, almost immediately after seeing Viggo's ship go up in flames.
The hunters turned out to be partially healers, as some of them weren't wearing armour, and carrying medical kits instead.
Most of the hunters are trained to swim, so most of them survived, others either drowned or got trapped. The dragons locked in the cells are doomed too. You scanned the shore for Viggo. You saw him laying far away from the others. You ran towards him.
"Viggo?" You shook his body.
No response.
The backup ship had docked near the crash and more people were here to help.
You put your face close to his nose to see if he was breathing. He was. You tilted his jaw up and he coughed out water. You backed up at the sudden action, just missing the seawater spat at your direction.
He panted and slowly opened his eyes.
"magnificent.."
You were just about to say how glad you were to know that Viggo was alright but then a voice from behind cut you off.
"How..?"
You turned around, it was a healer.
She had seen how you recovered Viggo from drowning, and she was blown out of her mind. Until you, there had never been any solution for drowning victims. They just waited until the person either woke up or never did.
"How did you do that?"
You didn't want to keep your eyes away from Viggo but you didn't want to come off as rude do you vaguely explained how you just cleared his windpipe, letting air into his lungs and therefore letting him breath.

She listened and went over to another hunter and tilted his jaw.
The hunter jolted up and coughed out water
The healer looked back at you in amazement and caught the attention of everyone by yelling.
"HEY EVERYBODY!"
Eyes shifted to her
She used her right hand to tilt her own jaw and proceed to explain how it can save the hunters. Someone did it and it worked, he confirmed it publicly and everyone else started doing the same.
You turned back to Viggo which was now sitting on the sand, observing the actions of his hunters.
He turned to you.
"Where did you learn that?"
You wanted to give an answer only to realise you didn't remember.
"I- uh.." you didn't know what to say "It's for me to know and you to find out!"
You said, followed by a nervous chuckle.
He stared at you with confusion, something like that doesn't need to be kept private.
"It is a pity that the dragon got away though." You changed the topic.
"At least we won't be stranded here." He switched his gaze to the sunken ship. "Dealing with a dragon which you have no information on always requires a backup plan, and one proved useful today."
You smiled.
"I suppose it did."
You looked at the ship.
Viggo stood up and ordered them to board the ship as most of them were recovered. He told you to wait for him at the cockpit.
You nodded and started making your way towards the ship.
