"Their leader is this boy named Hiccup Haddock the Third, he is the one who rides the Night Fury. Hiccup's right-hand man is this woman named Astrid Hofferson, she rides a Deadly Nadder. There are two blond siblings, which we believe are twins. They share a Hideous Zippleback. There is boy named Fishlegs, the larger one. He rides a Gronckle. There is also another person that rides a Monstrous Nightmare, we're not quite sure who they are, but we do know that they are most likely a male.
Last but not least, there Heather. She rides a Razorwhip and she was once a spy for the dragon riders. That is, until I met her." He somehow explained in just one breath.
"So there are seven of them" you thought, unintentionally speaking.
"How did you encounter them?"
"During one of Ryker's hunting trips"
"..... Ryker is...your...." You paused, now realising that it would be embarrassing to address someone as their brother. They didn't look alike anyway. The only thing they had in common was aesthetic.
"Ryker is the burly man with the two swords, and my brother." His shoulders went slack and he sighed at that last part.
You decided to not get sidetracked.
"Is the only reason they attack you because you capture dragons?"
Hesitation. You had never seen Viggo hesitate.
Annoyance? Once. Dramatic effect? Yes. But never actual hesitation.
'Had I gone too far? What if he gets mad? What if this is a sensitive topic that he doesn't want to talk about? What if-'
"No." Your line of thoughts cut off as you awaited for further details.
"Theres an artifact which my tribe owns. Hiccup has given it the name 'Dragon Eye'."
He turned and pointed his hand in the direction of a smaller table in the corner of the tent. There was a cylinder golden object which you just noticed existed.
"What's so special about this artifact?"
You said as you shifted your eyes back to Viggo.
He turned back, while putting on his thinking face.
Most likely debating whether to tell you or not.
".. It can provide information on different dragon species, islands and the location of other lenses."
'Fascinating.. wait..'
"Lenses?" You asked.
"Special lenses are inserted into the Dragon Eye."
He said as he stood up and walked towards a desk to pick up the 'Dragon Eye'.
"You see, dragon fire is used to project the information."
He lifted it to the level of his eyes.
"Truly a magnificent invention"
You observed the object as best as you could without moving. It seemed...oddly familiar.

*Flashback*
Someone informed you that your Village Chief wanted to talk to your father, hence you are heading towards your shared house.
You knocked twice on the door.
"Dad?"
"What do you want?" He said in his usual tired tone.
"The chief wants to see you."
......
"Dad?"
......
You walked in.
He had his back turned, facing his tilted table for drawing.
He was making another sketch.
"What does that do?"
You said, leaning over his shoulder.
"I don't know but it's a very important object and i cannot afford to have any distractions."
He said, without looking up.
"Speaking of which, can you tell the chief I'm busy?"
"......Sure, dad."
You left, leaving him to himself.

'That sketch...THAT SKETCH WAS THE DRAGON EYE!'
You thought as you tossed your head back in shock.
Viggo didn't notice, as his back was now turned.
You quickly returned back to your original position like nothing happened and Viggo soon sat down.
You and Viggo talked for the whole afternoon, you also ate lunch together. He let you ask more questions about information regarding the Dragon Hunter allies, enemy's, bases, what they do..ext. He was surprisingly open about the specific location of dragons and bases.
'Probably because I'm not spy material'
You thought.

You had an interesting day, it was alot to take in. You had arrived here for not even a week and you know basically everything about the dragon hunters. You had spent the whole day with Viggo, with a Chief. You've bonded with him alot. To you, he was a genuine nice guy that trusted you. The feeling of being trusted was missed ever since you were separated from your village.
You laid in your bed, a soft smile spread across your face as you dozed off.
