BubblePop: feelings

Bubble's P.O.V.

I was sitting on a bench, enjoying the beautiful weather. The sun was shining and there were some clouds here and there.

I was also thinking. I was thinking about Lollipop. And especially about what she once said when we were in space.

Flashback!

"Its an alliance member's duty to give other members air!" I exclaimed. I got a straw and started giving Ruby air. It was my duty to help my fellow alliance members. Lollipop stood behind me. "Care to give me some air? No straw needed~" she said, smirking. I pulled away from the straw. "LOLLY!" I shouted while slapping her.

I never exactly knew what she meant with that line, but now I realized: she wanted me to kiss her! She seriously asked me to kiss her! I never realized until now. I blushed realizing this. I also felt some tickles in my stomach, like there were tons of butterflies. I recognized the feeling, because I already kinda felt it ever since Lollipop said that pickup line to me. I never knew what these feelings were, though. I kept thinking, trying to figure out what this feeling was.

"Hey Bubble, are you ok?" I suddenly heard. It was Leafy. We became friends recently. "Well uhh... I don't know..." I replied. Leafy sat down next to me. "Wanna talk about it?" She asked. I trusted Leafy, so I decided to tell her. "Well... ok... ugh where do I start?" I paused for a moment, trying to find the right words. I then started talking again. "Well, ever since Lolly used that pickup line (I never realized it was a pickup line until now) I kind of... feel strange feelings every time I'm with her or when I think of her... I blush, feel tickles in my stomach and... I don't know what it is..." I explained. "Is it something bad? Do I have to worry?" Leafy smiled. "Oh Bubble, it's nothing bad." She said. I sighed with relief. "You just have a crush on Lollipop. You're in love with her." Leafy then said. I gasped. "Wh-what?!" I exclaimed. "Gosh, why didn't I realize...?" Leafy chuckled. "It's your first time being in love, isn't it?" She asked. I nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Don't worry too much about it. Maybe she feels the same. She didn't just ask you to straight up kiss her if she didn't feel anything for you." I nodded, then side-hugged Leafy. "Thank you Leafy." I said. "You're welcome." Leafy replied smiling. She stood up. "I believe in you, Bubble!" She said before running off. I sighed happily. What a good friend. I stood up and went to search for Lollipop.

I eventually found her, talking to Gelatin. "H-hey uhh... Lolly, can we talk? In private?" I said shyly. Lollipop turned around. "Why of course, Bubble." She replied. Gelatin smirked. I blushed. "Gelatin, I'm gonna talk with Bubble for a moment, be right back." Lollipop said. She followed me to a place where we were alone. "So, what do you want to talk about?" Lollipop asked. "I uhhh..." I started. Lollipop waited. "You can tell me Bubs." She said. I inhaled and exhaled slowly. "Lollipop... I uhh... Ikindalikeyoueversinceyouusethatpickuplineonme." I said. Lollipop smirked. "You got the pickup line?" She asked. I nodded, blushing. "And, like I said, I am in love with you..." I said. Lollipop smirked and pulled me close. "Good to know my crush feels the same." She said before kissing me. I let out a surprised noise before kissing back. Lollipop pulled me closer and deepened the kiss. We pulled away a few moments later and looked each other in the eyes. "So... we're together now?" I asked. Lollipop grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. "Yes." She replied.
