Rule number 1: Always let your enemy underestimate you.

She remained still for a long moment and when he thought she was surrendering because of the way she stopped struggling, she took the opportunity to bite his palm sharply and quickly wheeled around to ram her fist into his solar plexus, her elbow shooting to his chin (which he dodged).

However, he had already taken one hit and so his diaphragm spasmed immediately with shock as he doubled over struggling to breathe, but she didn't let him relax as she yanked him down by his shoulders and landed another brutally sharp knee-kick to his chest.

He was knocked to the ground as she climbed on top of him to point the weapon between his eyebrows, gripping it with both of her hands, "I am not too friendly to men I don't know, but I do tend to be kind to people because that's the way I was raised. There's a difference, Mister," she responded as she clicked the gun, a finger at the trigger.

"It's other people's fault that they often never possess the dignity to return it."

He was still pulling through her sudden attacks but then he held his breath, starstruck by her whole aura. He had never been in love so he didn't know what this feeling was or why he was sweating.

"Thank you for underestimating me, though. Helped in my self-defense," she continued when he lay under her, his hands slightly raised unconsciously as if in surrender, mouth falling open a little into a small awe-struck smile.

He was so shaken, but at the same time he hadn't made any efforts in defending himself as she traced the nozzle of the gun from his forehead to his nose, down to his lips and pressed it hard into his sharp-cut jawline, tipping his chin up as she bent low and leaned into his face.

The moment her breath hit his neck, he gulped. Nobody had ever made him feel this way. This thrilled.
And strangely turned on.

"Who's you?" she asked, a slight crease forming between her eyebrows as a corner of her lips tugged to the side in confusion. "You're not Jae, are you? What did you do to Jae? Are you a burglar? You seem well-dressed, though. What have you been doing hanging around Jae's? Is it something personal that brought you here?"

V was watching her silently as her hair gently fell across his cheek, brushing the side of his face and he slowly smiled. His eyes fluttering close before snapping open again.

He licked his lips, the amused smile now widened and brought a hand to hold hers that was gripping the gun at his jaw. She's so real..

"You make it so hard not to admire you, Han Roa-nim"

She raised an eyebrow as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze. For mysterious reasons it seemed to send butterflies in her tummy.

She tilted her head, tapping her finger at the trigger warningly, "What did you say?"

"Unfortunately, hide-and-seek ends here." he whispered, "It was a delight getting to experience what it must be like to be cared for by you."

The words strangely felt like a punch to her guts.

He had a wry smile on his face as he suddenly twisted her wrist to take back his weapon but in a second she immediately pulled the trigger and--*TACK!*

She gasped at the hollow sound. Why did the gun shoot out blank and empty?! He was instantly grabbing it out of her grip as he sat up with a jerk so she was under him, climbed on top of her to straddle her and pointed the gun at her forehead, gathering her wrists in the other hand to pin them above her head.
